We have made the decision to close due to extreme temperatures to avoid any harm to your animals Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Providing the weather forecast doesn’t change for Friday we will be back open as normal. I will have daytime availability on Friday and Monday to catch up.

Please note: I will still accept blood samples for progesterone testing all day everyday as normal.

At Calavey Pet Services, we understand just how important every planned litter is. We use a high-end specialist ultrasound machine, allowing us to offer a much more comprehensive scan than simply confirming whether your girl is in whelp. Our scans are designed to give breeders valuable information and peace of mind throughout the pregnancy and whelping journey.

Ultrasound scanning can confirm pregnancy from the appropriate stage post-mating, helping you understand whether your mating has been successful.

While ultrasound cannot guarantee an exact puppy count, we provide an experienced estimation of numbers to help you prepare and plan appropriately.

At Calavey Pet Services we are proud to have supported some of the local Open Shows with our 50%off your first Service vouchers.

We are giving something back to our show community but also building relationships with responsible breeders. It is lovely to offer services to new customers and meet their canine companions, showcasing our facilities, knowledge and offering that much needed flexible support when dogs do not always confirm at convenient times.
