Tythegston Boarding Kennels We are a dog boarding kennels near Bridgend, South Wales. We accept any and all dogs regardless of behaviour or breed.

We are fully licensed and insured so you know they'll be well cared for ❤️

Hi guys, it's forecast for a heatwave this week so we are opening 2 hours early (at 7am) so you can drop off and collect your dogs when it's less hot.
We will be monitoring the temperatures super closely this week and have a few frozen treats for your pups to enjoy (allergies/intolerances permitted) and stay cool while on their holiday with us 🥰
We also have an AC unit in case it gets too hot and also cooling matts, blankets and bandana's to keep them nice and cool ❄️

FAQS 2026
We accept all dogs at Tythegston Boarding Kennels, regardless of breed, temperament or neuter/spay status 🐕

Price:
£22 a night for 1 dog
£36 a night for 2 dogs (sharing)
£47 a night for 3 dogs (sharing - size dependent)
We charge a late checkout fee of £10 if you collect in the afternoon of your collection day

Opening times:
We are open 364 days of the year (only closed on Christmas Day)
Our opening times are 9-11am and 4-6pm

Vaccinations:
All dogs will need to be fully vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza (DHPP), Leptospirosis (L4/L2) and Kennel cough (KC)

What to pack:
* Vaccination card
* Any medication/supplements they need
* Blanket/item that smells like the home (the smellier the better!)
* Food (if on a special diet/sensitive to food changes)
* Any toys/treats they really love
* Whatever you think would make them feel more comfortable

During their stay:
They will have a walk in the morning and afternoon up and down the drive way and some time during the day in our compound (weather permitting). They will not interact with any other dogs in our care unless we have express permission from each owner (such as family or friends)

Food:
We have Harrington's Salmon and Potato kibble on site. You are more than welcome to bring your own food (especially if your pet has a sensitive stomach or a special diet). If you would like to bring wet food then we can mix it with the kibble

Kennel visit:
If you would like to come and visit us before your pets stay with us then please get in touch to book an appointment. We don't need to see everyone before their stay with us but we suggest a visit if your dog has shown signs of nervousness/aggression so we can arrange more kennel visits or short stays before their boarding stay
