She is safe and receiving treatment in our Bridgend hospital.

She does not have a microchip.

These 2 male unneutered brindle lurchers were found straying in Rest Bay, Porthcawl.
They do not have microchips or collars.

They are currently safe in our Bridgend hospital.

Please contact us directly on 01656 653 918 if they are yours. Proof of ownership will be required.

They will pass into the care of the dog warden in normal working hours.

🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

International Dog Day is a special celebration of all dogs around the world and the companionship and loyalty they show us every day. Dogs truly are man's best friend, and today is a wonderful opportunity to recognise everything these incredible animals do to keep us safe, guide us, and bring joy into our lives.

From supporting law enforcement, emergency services and the armed forces, to assisting those who are partially sighted or need extra support, dogs play remarkable roles within our communities. Their courage, intelligence and selflessness often see them putting themselves at risk to protect and help others.

Beyond their working roles, dogs provide unconditional love, comfort and companionship. They brighten our rough days with wagging tails, goofy smiles and endless affection. The bond between humans and dogs has evolved over thousands of years through trust, cooperation and friendship, making it one of the most special relationships in the world.

International Dog Day also raises awareness of the importance of rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. Many rescue centres and shelters are full of abandoned dogs looking for a second chance at a loving home. While welcoming a dog into your family is a big commitment, choosing to rescue can be an incredibly rewarding experience for both you and your new best friend.
