Paws at Pencoed- Dog Grooming

03/08/2026

After the recent heatwaves, we decided it was time for an upgrade…

Paws at Pencoed is now fully air conditioned! 🩵

No more hot salon days – just a cool, comfortable environment to help keep your pups relaxed while they’re being pampered. 🐾

A huge thank you to JST Electrical for getting everything installed and up and running for us. Fantastic job! 👏🏻👏🏻

🐾Important Update 🐾

Hi everyone,

We’ve been closely monitoring the temperatures this week and doing everything we can to keep the salon as cool and comfortable as possible for all of our furry clients.

Due to the heat, we have made the decision to close the salon Thursday 25th June. We will be opening earlier on Wednesday 24th June and closing earlier that day.

Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation this week. The dogs’ welfare is always our top priority. Fresh water is always available, and every dog is given regular breaks throughout their groom to help keep them comfortable.

We kindly ask that, where possible, you do not walk your dog to the salon during this hot weather.

We are also closed this weekend as we are away, and will reopen on Tuesday 30th June.

Thank you all, and we hope you and your four-legged friends are staying safe and keeping cool! ☀️🐶🐶💜💜

☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️

Hey guys, we hope you’re all enjoying the lovely sunny bank holiday! With temperatures expected to reach around 29°C tomorrow and stay high throughout the week, we just wanted to reassure everyone that we are still open and closely monitoring the temperature in the salon. 🐶

To keep the dogs as comfortable as possible:

💧 Fresh water is always available
🌬️ Fans are running throughout the salon
🪟 Shutters will be kept down to help keep the salon cool indoors

If you would prefer to rearrange your appointment due to the heat, we will do our best to be as flexible as possible.

The welfare and comfort of the dogs always comes first, and we’ll continue to monitor conditions throughout the week. ☀️

Hey guys!
We’re taking on the 5km Muddy Runner in Cardiff on Saturday 2nd May for Cancer Research UK Race for Life 🏃‍♂️💪💦
Me and the girls will be climbing, sliding, splashing, and no doubt getting absolutely covered in mud for a great cause!
If you’d like to support us, we’d really appreciate it — every donation, big or small, will go towards an amazing cause:
Wish us luck, I think we are going to need it🙈🙈

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor ...

Hey everyone! 💕

Hope you’re all doing well! Just a quick note to let you know that I’m now fully booked for August.

The salon will be closed from Monday 8th September to Friday 12th September for holidays, so there will be limited availability in September.

The diary is now open for October and December appointments — and December is filling up fast, so make sure to pre-book to avoid disappointment! 😊

📱 Please note: My WhatsApp has been playing up, so if you’d like to book an appointment, please send me a text message or give me a call — not via WhatsApp or comments — to make sure I don’t miss it.

Thank you💜
