This is a difficult post to write, but sadly, it is an important one.

It is incredibly upsetting and disappointing when a client receives a grooming service and then fails to make payment. As a small business, every appointment involves time, care, professional products, and genuine dedication to making each dog look and feel their best.

One of the loveliest parts of this job is the rapport and trust built with clients and their dogs. Until now, I have always been happy to accept payment after appointments because that trust has generally been respected. Sadly, on this occasion, the trust has been broken, and I have been left out of pocket for a service that I provided.

Unfortunately, situations like this mean I may now need to introduce deposits or advance payments for future bookings. This is not a decision I want to make, and it feels unfair to the many wonderful and reliable clients who consistently support my business.

Please remember that behind every small business is a real person working hard to provide a professional service. Prompt payment is not just appreciated—it is essential. Thank you to all my loyal clients who continue to treat me and my business with kindness and respect.
