A family farm in Great Notley with Dog Field and Christmas Tree Barn. The Christmas Tree Barn is closed for 2025 and will reopen in November 2026.

Follow the A131 to the south of Great Notley. At Notley Green roundabout take the exit signposted to Youngs End (London Road). Take the first right-hand turning onto Blackley Lane. Follow Blackley Lane under the bridge and turn right, signposted
Slamseys. Keep straight ahead to the farm buildings and follow the signs to The Christmas Tree Barn.

The wheat harvest is starting today (very early) on the farm. If you are in the area please note there may be some dust as everything has been so dry. 🌾👨‍🌾

We've been busy on the farm this afternoon cutting the footpaths to make it easier for people to walk them. Just a polite reminder though, especially with harvest on the horizon, if it's not been mown that means it's not a footpath!

It's closing weekend! The Christmas Tree Barn will be open this weekend from 10am - 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, and we still have lots of trees under 6ft. Sunday will be the last day of opening. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!🎄

The Christmas Tree Barn is still open this week, for the slightly reduced hours of 10 am - 5 pm on weekdays. We have now stopped cutting from the plantation but will remain open until we sell out of the trees already in the barn. There is still a wide selection but come early in the week to avoid disappointment! 🎄

The Slamseys Christmas Tree Barn is open until 4pm today with a wide selection of cut and pot grown Christmas trees, wreaths and stands 🎄
