🐾 Lovely words from Peggy’s family 🐾
Peggy is a gentle, enthusiastic girl who loves everyone she meets—both people and dogs. Usually lively and at the centre of the family’s fun, it was clear something was wrong when she suddenly lost her spark.
Peggy became extremely poorly after contracting a suspected virus and needed to stay in our hospital for treatment and supportive care. Her family visited her each day and were delighted when she began to improve.
Thank you to Peggy’s owner for these incredibly kind words about our team. It was a pleasure to care for such a sweet girl, and we’re so pleased she is feeling better and back where she belongs with her family.
Peggy—and her canine companion Piran—certainly hold a special place in the hearts of our team! 💙

🐾 Timothy’s remarkable FIP recovery 🐾
When 11-year-old Timothy became lethargic, stopped eating and developed breathing difficulties, his family knew something was seriously wrong.
Following a thorough examination and blood tests, Laura diagnosed Timothy with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and immediately started antiviral treatment. Extremely unwell, Timothy spent three nights with us receiving intensive care, including intravenous fluids, drainage of fluid from around his lungs and support from a feeding tube.
Encouragingly, within days Timothy began purring, responding to attention and eating again. He is now on day 64 of his 84-day treatment and has returned to his lively, energetic self—once again appearing first whenever the fridge door opens!
Timothy’s family shared their heartfelt thanks to Laura, Ashleigh and our entire nursing, reception and pharmacy teams for the expertise, compassion and dedication shown throughout his treatment.
We’re all delighted to see you doing so well, Timothy! 💙🐱

Remember Peg who belongs to our Cat Friendly nurse Emma?!
She came in this week for Spey, until this point she has not been outside as cats will start breeding young so we advise keeping them indoors until fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
We’ll see her again in a few days for her first check up.
