Why is enrichment so important for dogs?

Providing enrichment has huge benefits for your dog:

It allows your dog to carry out behaviours they enjoy and need to do so they feel fulfilled and satisfied.

It helps improve their overall mental wellbeing.

It can help improve confidence – studies show that enrichment can increase ‘optimism’ in animals.

It can help reduce some problematic behaviours.

Some dogs may have a temporary or permanent restriction on how much exercise they are able to have. For example, young puppies or dogs who are not able to freely exercise off lead. This can lead to frustration as they may have fewer chances to use up their energy or express natural healthy behaviour. Enriching their life in other ways can help them to cope.

Most of us dog owners have our own lives to juggle around our pets and kids etc and sometimes we simply just dont have the time. That's why I am offering my services to not only help you but to also benefit your doggo.

🚨 CUSTOMER NOTICE 🚨

This week the forecast is for high temperatures, I will be doing earlier walks in shaded woodland areas with fresh water available on all walks aswell as the streams to cool off in.

I will check this daily and if I need to bring the walks forward I will let clients know the day before.

I have messaged everyone for Monday and Tuesday with approximate pick up times. The doggies welfare is as always my top priority. If anyone wants to cancel the walks for the days when the temperatures are hot please let me know as soon as possible you will NOT be charged for the cancellations.
