🐾💚 World Mental Health Day 💚🐾
Today is World Mental Health Day, and we just wanted to share a little reminder that it’s okay not to be okay.
We know how much you love your pets, and we love them too! Our team works hard every day to make sure your furry family members get the care and attention they deserve. But sometimes, in the middle of looking after everyone else, we forget that the people doing the caring need a little care too. 💕
Behind every phone call, message and appointment is a real person. Our vets, nurses and reception team care so much about what they do, and while we’re always grateful for the lovely, kind messages we receive, some words can hurt more than people realise.
We completely understand that worrying about your pet can be stressful, and we’re always here to help. All we ask is that, even on the difficult days, we remember to be kind to one another. A little kindness really can go a long way. 💙
Today, take a moment for yourself, too. Whether that’s going for a walk, having a cuddle with your pet, catching up with a friend or simply taking a breather, make sure you’re looking after yourself as well as those around you. 🐶🐱
And if things are feeling a little overwhelming, please remember that you’re not alone. There’s always someone you can reach out to:

💛 Samaritans – samaritans.org
Thank you for being part of our Yorkshire Vets family. We’re so grateful for your support, your kindness and the trust you place in us to care for your pets. 💕
Let’s all try to be a little kinder to ourselves and each other, today and every day
