🍁 Autumn has arrived - and dare I say it but….we’re on the countdown to Christmas now people and pooches! 🫣🎄

🐶 As you know, we close the facility for the winter months - trust me, I STILL have nightmares about that first year, oh the mud!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

🐾 We’ll keep things going as long as we can but typically by early November the field is in need of a good rest - as always, we’ll keep you updated nearer the time!

🤪 For now, we’re still going strong and once again we thank you all for choosing to bring your beautiful pooches to us over the spring/summer months! It’s you who make Woofing Around what it is today!

🐶 A huge thank you to all who have visited us so far this season, I can’t believe that we’re only a couple of months away from closing our gates for winter - how fast has this year gone?!💨

🐾 Just a polite reminder of some ‘paddock keeping’ rules, please…

💦 Ensure that the tap is turned off after use!
🎾 Pop toys away in the basket before leaving!
🦴 Don’t leave treats out around the field!

🐶 Our sniff station viewing window was damaged earlier this week (owner made us aware as soon as it happened - thank you!) so we’ve removed for safety - but we have a brand new one ready for fitting as soon as time allows!

🫣 Polite reminder not to leave treats out around the paddock - including in the sandpit…

🦴 We offer free treats for your pooches and just above where they live in our shelter you’ll find an information poster telling you which treats are in the tub and all ingredients/nutritional information. This means that you can make an informed choice as to whether your doggo can have them (or not)!

😣 Unfortunately, some pooches can’t have treats, for example due to allergies or veterinary advice so it can be very unsettling for the owners of these dogs should they enter the paddock and find treats lying around which could pose a risk to their pooch!

🙏🏻 Let’s keep our paddock as enjoyable and safe for ALL dogs who visit! 😊

🐶 Personally we can’t see anything but benefits to this proposal!

🐾 The proposal seeks to ensure that local people can share and utilise a public space responsibly and safely!

Plans to expand Bingley View Dog Park into a neighbouring field were rejected by Bradford Council.

❤️‍🩹 We’ve got a poorly paddock this morning as one of our jump poles has broken…

💚 We’ll get it replaced ASAP (pinning the paddock fairy down at this moment in time is proving difficult 😂), for now, we have a lonely pole!

🌡️ The temperatures have finally subsided - we cannot believe how many heat waves we’ve had this year!! 🫣

🚜 We’ve now made a start on our new entrance and hope to have this completed in time for the weekend - just awaiting delivery of the new gate!
