We’ve not posted in a while but we have not given up on Maddie and we will never give up hope of finding her and bringing her home. Everyday we live in hope that some new information will come through to give us an idea of where she might be hiding now.
With the change in season and the loss of leaves on trees Maddie may be forced to move to a new hiding place.
Please continue to look out for her or for anything that might suggest a lost dog has been seeking shelter. Please don’t be afraid to contact no matter how unsure or insignificant the information might seem. We will always follow up anything that might help bring Maddie home.
Many thanks for everyone’s support. We never thought we would ever find us in this unbearable situation. We just want the nightmare to end and to bring Maddie home.

Just want to say a big thank you to the lovely lads who thought they had seen Maddie last night and made the call so quickly allowing us the opportunity to be on the scene and see the dog for ourselves. Unfortunately the dog turned out not to be Maddie but we were extremely grateful to be able to react so quickly. The dog was extremely scared and we really hope it made its way home.

Last night’s call does however confirm the importance of reporting any possible sighting as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to be on the scene quickly. We really appreciate the lads making the call in the middle of the night. We truly welcome any call whatever the time if there’s the slightest chance the dog could be Maddie. After all this time we feel an early call of any potential sighting is our best chance of us bringing Maddie home.

As we now approach 2 years since we last saw Maddie we take comfort in the fact that so many people are still searching for Maddie and we continue to encourage anyone to report any potential sighting as soon as possible even if you are unsure.

We miss and think of her every day and every night and desperately want to bring her home.

**POSSIBLE LOST DOG**

Has anyone lost a dog in the Highfield area, Keighley?

We’ve just had a call about a potential Maddie sighting near Highfield Centre. When we went out to see if it was Maddie, we saw the dog rooming on Enfield Street. It was a small dog, with terrier like features - therefore it unfortunately was not Maddie.

Please share / get in touch if you think you know the owner and we’d be happy to provide more information.

Attached below is a map of the last 2 sightings one behind Airedale hospital and the other one 10 days later in a field near East Morton. We have thought for some time now Maddie is likely to be following the Canal or the river and both these locations make sense.

There have been no more sightings of her in the East Morton area although there is a Small Beck around this area which is very accessible and with clean running water. We definitely know a reliable water source will be very important to her especially give the recent warm weather.

We had a thermal drone out yesterday covering a large area of open fields around the East Morton sighting but sadly nothing significant to report. Looking at the map it’s quite possible Maddie may already be heading back towards Silsden as we don’t know how long she stays in one area. Any area where there is an obvious water source will be a key area to consider. Please keep a lookout for her and please remember not to call or chase her as she will run. We know she is now extremely scared of other humans. Simply just call 07949 280462 as quickly as possible absolutely anytime day or night. Please remember any possible sighting is always worth that call even if you are not sure and think it maybe a long shot. The sighting might just link up with other information we have received but not yet published. We will always investigate anything we feel is significant. We do believe she is still out there.

Many thanks again for everyone’s engagement with the last post. It is really heartwarming to know so many people care and are wishing she could be found soon. Xx
