A little look into some of my walks over the past week 🐾

Plenty of sniffing, exploring and waggy tails. Spending time in the great outdoors with these guys is such a joy, every single day!

What a glorious week we have had! 🌞🐾

Today marks the start of spring after what felt like a very, very long winter. One of my lovely clients said it perfectly - it's finally the time of year when people start to tell me I have the best job in the world... and of course they're right! 🤣

I even dared to have my first short-sleeve t-shirt walk of the year this week 😍.

It's been so lovely in fact, that I've been feeling so peaceful on my walks I've forgotten to take photos of all the gorgeous dogs! Thankfully I do have a few to share 😊

🔊 Volume Warning: Squeaky Toy! 🤣 🔊

I will always love my "wild walks" with my groups, exploring public footpaths and finding new sniffs for the dogs brings me so much joy! 🌳

However, renting a private dog field can be a fab alternative! They give dogs a chance to enjoy off-lead freedom to run and play, and for reactive or nervous dogs they provide a secure space without unexpected encounters.
For us walkers, it can also be a nice way to relax and enjoy the walk knowing the space is enclosed.

For this boy however, he just loves testing all of the toys available - with this squeaky burger being his favourite at the moment 🍔🤣.

Today is ! 💕

Most of you will know that this sweetheart is my dog Mally, who is my whole world (yes I’m completely obsessed 🤣).

She didn’t always know what love felt like. Rescued from a puppy farm situation, she was so nervous when she first came home. Every sound startled her, new places were overwhelming, and trust didn’t come easily.

But oh how far she has come!

With time, patience, and oh-so-much love, she’s grown into the sweetest, gentlest soul. Watching her learn that the world can be safe (and even fun) has been such a privilege. Every tail wag melts my heart.

If you have a dog, you’ll know that every day is Love Your Pet Day. Give them an extra treat from me 🥰
And to anyone loving a once-nervous rescue, thank you for giving them the safety they deserve ❤️

The lovely Charis at Charismatic Pets is hosting a FREE wellness event tomorrow afternoon (Sat 21st Feb) 🐾

As a dog walker, I’m always encouraging owners to learn more about their dog’s wellbeing and this is a brilliant opportunity to do just that!

I'll be popping along with my dog Mally to listen to the talks and learn even more about how I can support her health and happiness 🐶

If you're free, I'd definitely recommend coming along!

We are opening up our centre to EVERYONE in Feb for a FREE wellness afternoon where you can come and talk everything Dog!

🐾 Demonstrations of enrichment and other wellness factors

Dogs are welcome if they are happy in a space around people and other dogs although this one is really for their humans learning journey 😜

Yesterday was glorious - sunny skies and not a drop of rain all day!!
Today was back to rain... all day ☔️🤣

But I have faith that spring is on its way 🤞. At least the dogs are as happy as ever, whatever the weather 😊

January 2026 - frost on the grass, mud on my boots and rain in the forecast every single day ☔️
But also a month of getting back into a routine after a busy festive period and a time of reflection as I realise how bloody lucky I am to call this my job!
Happy dogs = a happy dog walker 🥰

Did anyone else feel like a mud magnet today? 😅

Super wet and muddy out there, but the dogs are loving the opportunity to jump in puddles!
My towels, waterproofs and wellies were all working overtime 😂🌧

First proper day of walks for 2026 complete! 🐶❄️

A truly lovely day full of waggy tails and frozen fields (so no mud!!). Whilst it was great to have a break over the festive period, it is always lovely to come back and get such wonderful and enthusiastic greetings from all the dogs!
