Words I use on walks

Behaviours the dogs know and must complete:

Come
Down
Heel

Cues and markers:

Yes (you’ve unlocked food)
Ok (you’re free to do as you please)
Whistle or “this way” if I’m moving in a different direction (only use with multiple dogs as it’s not needed with only one)

The remainder of the time there is dead silence - just the brachys breathing, birds chirping and critters rustling in the bracken
