Pillow Wad Producing the most nutritious pet food & bedding here on our farm, one eco-friendly bag at a time.

Hay, we’re Pillow Wad - we make hay when the sun shines…literally! Producing the ripest, most nutritious pet food and bedding nationwide from our centrally located farm in rural Northamptonshire. We’ve been around a long time, and like the best family recipes, this knowledge has been passed down to the next generation…

Founded by Chris Peel-Yates in the 1980’s, Pillow Wad was classed as what we now call a ‘side-hustle’, a way to generate extra income alongside our dairy herd and arable farm. Fast forward 30 years, and we now have a beloved business making natural hay products for a variety of pets with an incredible team led by Chris, his son, Will Peel-Yates and wife Liz. From our hay to our straw, bedding, and 'Nibbley Bit' herbs - our mission is to make the best quality pet products here at the farm (or through our trusted local farmer network) with the least impact on our planet and the environment.

Oh dear! Let’s leave the tech tips to someone else, shall we?! 😂

Technology might not be our strong point… but luckily, we know a thing or two about making tasty hay and cosy bedding for your little ones! 🐰🐹💚

We’ll stick to what we do best… keeping little tummies full, homes cosy and pets happy!

Anyone else feel our pain when it comes to technology?
