inspiring tails Offering both in-person and virtual dog training. My proven methods inspire the change you both deserve 💙 🐶

At inspiring tails, we believe that every dog is an individual. It's so easy to compare your dog to others and give them labels according to their breed, age, or s*x. While every breed will have certain traits, these do not define the dog. We like to look at what you WANT from your dog, rather than what you DON'T want - this helps shape your training and in turn, grow the behaviours that are important to both you and your dog. Most importantly, through games, fun, and a passion for creating an amazing relationship between dog and owner, we will help give you the confidence and knowledge to grow a bond that will last a lifetime!

💛 Join us for our Dogs in Yellow event at Evenley Wood Garden - Sunday 26th Oct 💛

If your dog wears a yellow lead, collar, bandana, lead slip, or jacket to let others know they’re nervous, anxious, or reactive, this event is for you. Perhaps you avoid certain places because you’re worried about how your dog will cope, or feel self-conscious about their behaviour around others. Here, you’ll find a welcoming, judgement-free space with people who understand.

Join us for up to 1.5 hours exploring the beautiful gardens at your own pace. Whether you stay for 5 minutes or the whole time, you’re free to enjoy the space in a way that works for you and your dog.

💛 No structured walk
💛 Like-minded, supportive owners
💛 A relaxed environment
💛 An experienced trainer specialising in anxious, nervous, and reactive dogs on hand to offer guidance if needed

Booking is essential as spaces are limited. We carefully manage numbers to help make the experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for everyone attending.

We noticed that izzie didn’t seem to be blinking her right eye and that’s what started the investigations. We don’t know why she has this or how she got it but we’re hoping it’s nothing serious and that she heals & recovers.

She is her usual bouncy, cuddly self, sweet & full of love. She just can’t use the right side of her face properly at the moment :(

We will be keeping a very close watch over her to make sure there are no other changes and will be keeping everything crossed for a full recovery 🙏 for now, life for her continues as usual… just with millions of eye drops every day which she has been a saint at letting us put in (and possibly some doggles to keep her eye protected when we’re out!) 😊

Between her & Rosie I’m definitely being kept on my toes at the moment 🥴 it’s a good job they’re cute 🤭

Thank you to the team at Taylor Vets and Focus referrals for seeing her so quickly & giving her all the love & cuddles 🥰

💛 🐾 Opening up the world, one walk at a time. 🐾💛

Our Dogs in Yellow walks are about so much more than just walking dogs.

They’re about creating opportunities for dogs and their owners to explore the world, grow in confidence and build connections, all at their own pace.

No judgement. No pressure. Just kindness, understanding and people who get it because they’re going through the same things.

Watching dogs grow in confidence, owners relax and new friendships form is exactly why we do this. 💛

Because every dog deserves the chance to enjoy the world, in their own way. 🐾

We managed to snag some of the adios plastic Christmas poo bags yesterday 🎄 🎅

The question is… at what point is it acceptable to start using them? 🤔

Phew! It’s been a super busy week! 🐾💛

But now it’s time to get ready for Edition Dog Live tomorrow! 🎉

Claire and I will be there spreading the word about Dogs in Yellow, raising awareness and showing a little love for the dogs (and humans!) who need a little extra space when navigating the world 💛

If you spot us, please come and say hello! 👋 And while you’re there, why not leave a message on our Yellow Wall of Kindness? A few encouraging words from you might be exactly what another dog owner needs to hear. 💛🐾

See you tomorrow!

🎃👻 Ding d**g? Not this Halloween! 🔔🐾

Halloween can be stressful for our dogs, especially with the doorbell constantly ringing!

So, I’ve created two printable door signs to help keep things a little calmer this spooky season! 🧡

🍬 Option 1: Please don’t ring the bell, but help yourself to a sweet!

🐾 Option 2: Please don’t ring the bell – perfect if you’re not taking part in trick or treating.

Because you can enjoy Halloween without putting your dog through the doorbell chaos!

🐾 Spaniel & Collie tested! 🐾

My girls’ Flexi Tags have lasted YEARS through everything crazy dog life throws at it! 😂

No dangling, jingling or getting caught — just a secure, hard-wearing tag with loads of colour combinations to choose from! 🌈

If it can survive life on a spaniel’s or collies neck, it can survive pretty much anything! 😂

This isn’t an ad or a paid partnership — I just genuinely love the product and wanted to share what I recommend to all clients & something that works brilliantly for my dogs! 🐾
