🐧 We have some very exciting news to share…

For the first time in six years, we have a King Penguin egg! 🥚

The egg was laid by first-time mum French and experienced dad Frank who is the father of our famous Spike the King Penguin.

While French is still young and the egg is a little smaller than average, we’re keeping everything crossed that it proves fertile. 🤞

For now, we’re celebrating this incredible step forward and hoping for the very best. Regardless of what happens, seeing this pair produce an egg is wonderful news and an encouraging sign for the future of the colony. 🐧 💜
