Was a little and large kinda day today 🐾🐶🦮. New recruit Rocco the (very large) Rhodesian Ridgeback joined the family today so we ventured to the new secure Dog Walking field at Burton for a ‘get to know each other’ session so we had no interruptions or distractions, went very well and we will do this again next week ❤️. Then was on to the little ones Reggie, Tinks and Diego, managed a walk with R&T as it was much cooler and a bit cloudy and then popped back to let Diego out for a wee and a bit of fuss before heading over to Rudi and Hazels place where I did a 30 minute pop-in as it was quite close and muggy then and we had a chill in the garden, played a bit of fetch with Hazel and then scattered some treats on the garden for them to sniff and snuffle for 😊

Another early walk today this time with lovely Luna ❤️🐾 she had the best time swimming in the sea to get her ball, definitely kept her cool on the walk as it was already pretty hot. It’s been a real challenge this week with it being so hot but with changes to the usual schedules or pop-ins arranged instead of walks then the dogs have been kept happy but also safe which is so important for my clients. Change to the usual walk time today because of the heat 🥵 and could see the difference in their normal behaviour with just gentle trots instead of the usual zoomies and play fighting, kept the pack in the shade as much as possible with regular water breaks and time out and even a much needed cool down in a not so clean pond (good towel/hose down required after 🤣)

Very busy, windy, slightly wet at times today walking the pooches but as you can see they all had a fab time, bested buddies Piper and Snoop play fighting, Reggie and Tinks just being cute, Rudi and Hazel in amongst the buttercups and super cool Basil and me just taking a breather watching manic Mindy do her thing 🤣🤣

Let me introduce you to Mindy ❤️🐾 the latest addition to the Strut ya Mutt family. She is the best mate of the wonderful Basil ❤️ already a member of the pack but they couldn’t be more different. Where he is completely chilled and calm, she is as ‘mad as a box of frogs’ when she is out on a walk and just doesn’t stop running and sniffing the whole time, was exhausting just watching her 🥱 but she is such a lovely girl and it wouldn’t be any fun if they were all the same 🐾😊

The Strut ya Mutt family is growing nicely 🐾🐶❤️ with dogs of all shapes, sizes, temperaments and personalities which is why I love my job as there is never a dull moment. Been a busy one for Strut ya Mutt this week with all of these amazing dogs ❤️🐶🐾 They had the best time with their mates, chasing, sniffing, living their best lives and loving the great outdoors as dogs should. I love my job, seeing their happy faces and wagging tails every day makes me incredibly happy 😊

We had a visitor in the Strut ya Mutt house this weekend 🐶🐾 the absolutely gorgeous bundle of energy that is Rumi ❤️. She is an absolute whirlwind but with lots of walks in the forest, on the beach and through the local nature reserves she was certainly entertained and stimulated and settled into our home routine no problem. It was an absolute pleasure to have her stay with us over the Bank Holiday and the weather turned out better than predicted so that really helped 🌞🌞❤️

It was all about the little doggoes yesterday, Reggie, Tinks, Rudi and Hazel in the beautiful southern sunshine 🌞. First trip in the van for Rudi and Hazel to Iford playing fields (only a few minutes from home) and they didn’t seem to mind at all ❤️🐾

Three more miniature additions to the Strut ya Mutt family today, a very warm welcome to Tinks, Reggie and Diego aren’t they the cutest little doggoes ❤️ A lovely little walk with Tinks and Reggie in the forest and then back home to let super sweet Diego out for a wee. Looking forward to seeing them all again on Thursday 🐶🐾❤️
