Move over Hollywood A-listers… we’ve got a celebrity in our midst 🐾✨

Little Teeka the pug was part of the cast in 🎬 “Kingsman” back around 2015, stealing scenes and hearts alongside the stars!

Safe to say we’re feeling very honoured to know a real-life movie star ⭐🐶

Raul is one of our new vets starting at our Bournemouth practice and we are so pleased to see him settle straight in.

Tell us a bit about your background Raul…
‘I graduated in Spain back in 2021 and after qualifying I spent some time working in a small practice in my hometown. I then went on to a referral hospital when I completed my internship. Also, I spent some time with an internal medicine team.’

Do you have any pets?
‘I have a lovely black cat called Lima!’

What do you do in your free time?
‘I enjoy outdoor sports, especially climbing!’

We are thrilled to have you as part of our team Raul! 😁

Smudge came in to see us for his 6 month health check with the nurse as part of his Pet Health Club plan with us. He was very inquisitive, wondering all around the consult room but especially loved being in the sink.

During his visit, nurse Allanah was able to give him a head to toe examination. He was also provided with parasite treatment to protect him for the next 3 months.

Feel free to have a look at what is included with our Pet Health Club on our website:

☀️ Temperatures are set to soar this Bank Holiday weekend, and while many of us will be enjoying the sunshine, the hot weather can pose serious risks to our pets.

Every year, our veterinary teams see cases of heatstroke and dehydration that can become life-threatening very quickly. Dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets can all struggle in high temperatures, so it's important to take extra precautions to keep them safe.

🐾 Walk dogs during the cooler parts of the day
💧 Make sure pets always have access to fresh water
🌳 Provide plenty of shade and cool resting areas
🚗 Never leave pets in cars, conservatories or poorly ventilated spaces
🔥 Check pavements and artificial grass before walks to avoid burnt paws

Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, wobbliness or collapse.

If you suspect your pet is suffering from heatstroke, move them somewhere cool, offer water and contact your veterinary practice immediately for advice.

Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine responsibly with your pets. ❤️

What a lovely morning we had at our Bournemouth practice with four gorgeous Border Collie puppies! 😍🩷

Our new vet, Raul, certainly made a lot of fuss with them on their first visit. He made sure they were all fit and healthy for their new homes and we could not believe how brave they all were for their first vaccine and microchips.

Student Nurse Ruby and Nurse Assistant Sophie were also pleased to get involved. They didn’t want to put them down! 🥹

She’s absolutely gorgeous and enjoyed her time here so much this afternoon her mum physically had to pick her up to get her to leave the practice! 😂 🐶

ANSWER > she’s a gorgeous Bernadoodle!! 🥰🥰 a couple of people got it! Well done for all your great guesses!

How many hugs can cheeky Marley get? 😜

Marley was in recently for his castration and how could we say no to him to for a hug? He even brought in his Eeyore toy for comfort during his procedure.

It is lovely to hear that Marley has recovered well and wish him all the best 💙

A huge warm welcome to Doris for joining our Natterjacks family 😄

Doris is an Irish Wolf Hound and nearly 3 months old! We don’t see many of this breed, so it was a lovely surprise to us all.

She was the best at giving hugs and very well behaved. We can’t wait to see how much you grow Doris! (look how big her paws are already!)😍🩷
