At Natterjacks Vets, we offer friendly care, excellent facilities, and a personal touch at our fully equipped branches. Due to our unique approach and famously high standards of care, Natterjacks has rapidly grown to become one of the most popular and highly-rated practices in the country. There are two branches of the practice, one in Bournemouth and one in Poole. The Bournemouth branch is situated on Christchurch Road in the Boscombe East area of Bournemouth and the Poole branch is located at Darby's Corner near Broadstone in Poole. Both premises are delightfully restored and converted old buildings of local historic significance.

Firework season is here and this can be a stressful time for our pets! However, a little bit of preparation can make a big difference.

Here are a few things that can help make our pets feel more at ease:

🎇 Use a pheromone spray or diffuser
🎇 Create a safe place for your pet to hide
🎇 Walk dogs earlier/before sunset
🎇 Close windows, curtains and blinds
🎇 Turn on TV/ radio for background noise
🎇 If possible, keep cats indoors for the evening/overnight
🎇 Give rabbits extra bedding to burrow in

If you know your pets struggles with fireworks and would like some advice feel free to speak to our team about it.

Stray dog has been handed in to our Bournemouth practice this morning. No collar and microchip not registered. Crossbreed, entire male and fawn coloured. Found at Connaught Road near Tesco Express.

💚 Margaret Green: Country Fayre and Dog Show (Dorset) 💚

Join Margaret Green Animal Rescue on Sunday 4th October from 11am at Church Knowle Centre in Dorset. It will be a fun filled day of dog show classes, stalls, food and drink and even live performances.

We are even sponsoring a class at the event too!
