During the week I walk the dogs, and at the weekend I paint them 😅

I mean it when I say I’m dog obsessed.

After dog sits and walks, clients leave lovely reviews and their dogs give me kisses - they're both much appreciated! 💙

Lovely feedback from a past dog-sitting client and the sweetest little photo of one of their cavapoos smelling the flowers while we played in the garden.

Lots of off-lead walks with lovely Mr D has had me reflecting on the importance of attentiveness on dog walks.

We’ve been successfully navigating cycle paths, busy bank holiday parks, and packs of other dogs, allowing him to enjoy his freedom off lead and me to be relaxed and confident in keeping him safe and controlled.

Yes, this guy’s recall is brilliant, but our success also comes from my full attention being on Mr D, monitoring both his signals and the environment around us.

Through this we’ve built mutual trust and have been having the best walks together. I also get the benefit of enjoying seeing every entertaining and cute thing he does, from his ears flapping as he prances along the path, to his cute sneezes, to watching his attention follow birds in the water.

I love solo dog walking. To me, you can’t beat it 🩷
