I am a Trainer, Core Mentor & Assessor at PAWS Therapy & Assistance Dog Training Thanks for visiting my page,
After many years of caring for & owning dogs I am now in a great position to be able to start my own business working with these fabulous creatures. For several years I fostered over 30 fabulous dogs for a local dog rescue and I currently have a Labrador who is a registered therapy dog and

a very elderly spaniel, I also own a gorgeous gypsy cob who I ride out in the forest so I am truly an outdoors sort of person! Earlier this year I was very lucky to be accepted to study with The Dog Training College to train to be a qualified dog training instructor, the course covers many topics such as Dog law, first aid ,scentwork, loose lead walking & reactivity in fact 146 separate subjects but all incredibly important for anyone working with canines! My objectives are to make sure what ever dog is in my care either dog walking or training they will feel safe and happy and ultimately enjoy their time spent with me.

The team at Hey doggie are having a few unexpected days off due to the heat,
They are doing a very good job at trying to keep themselves as cool as possible - I am failing miserably 🤣🐾

Bramble and I had a really lovely morning meeting the wonderful team at the Dorset Probation Service
We are exploring how our services might well have a positive impact on individuals going through their system ,
I have come away feeling really inspired and excited as to how we can help! ❤️🐾

I am really excited to be sharing that I have been accepted on a course to become an Equimotional coach and session provider,
The course is accredited and is recognised by IPHM & ITOL
It covers Equine Facilitated Learning, Wellbeing, NLP language and is heavily focused on a Trauma informed approach, as well as putting the horse’s needs and welfare at the forefront of our learning.
I am really excited to start the course and can’t wait to be able to increase my services in the future,
In the meantime I might need to rethink by business name to include the equines! 🐴🐎

This week’s booked sessions have been a bit of a write off due to the heat and I have had to cancel all of them as welfare of the dogs always comes first,

Apologies to all my very understanding clients and we will see you very soon! 🐾
Both Bramble and Nelly have mostly dozed the week away ( lucky them 🤣) 🐾💤
But it has meant I have managed to achieve a lot!
The exciting news is I have signed up to a course for EAL 🐴( Equine Assisted Learning ) meaning that in the near future I will be able to increase my services to new and existing clients
Very exciting times ahead!
