A lovely dog sit yesterday with 3 of my favourites. Dylan, Dougal & Dora. Too hot for a walk so played lots of games and had lots of cuddles. And I was very lucky to see all of the owners wonderful animals. I was in heaven! ❤️

I haven't posted for a while as the summer has certainly kept me on my toes! ☀️🐾

The heatwaves over the last couple of months have meant constant changes to our usual routine. Walks have needed to be moved to much earlier in the morning, shortened, swapped for garden visits, enrichment sessions, or playtime to make sure every dog stayed safe and comfortable.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for being so understanding, flexible, and supportive with all of the changes week after week. Your willingness to adapt at short notice has made such a difference and has allowed me to continue putting the dogs' welfare first.

I'm so lucky to have such amazing clients who trust me to make the safest decisions for their dogs. It really is appreciated more than you know. ❤️

Here's hoping for some cooler weather soon and a return to our normal adventures! 🐕🌳

☀️ HOT WEATHER NOTICE ☀️

With the warmer weather forecast next week, your dogs’ safety and wellbeing will always come first. 🐾

To avoid walking during the hottest parts of the day, I will be contacting customers individually to discuss:
• Changing walk times to cooler parts of the day
• Shorter shaded walks
• Garden playtime, enrichment & toilet breaks instead of walks where needed

Please understand that extreme heat can be dangerous for dogs, especially on hot pavements and during peak temperatures.

Cancelled walks with less than 24 hours notice are still charged at full price.
Unfortunately it’s very difficult to fill a space at such short notice and as a small business I can’t afford to absorb the income loss of frequent cancellations.
This information is in the terms & conditions of booking walks, which you have all read and signed. ☺️
