Frenchies are adorable little potatoes with big personalities… and unfortunately, they can be prone to a**l gland problems. 😅
Their compact build, sensitive digestion, allergies, and tendency toward soft stools can make it harder for a**l glands to empty naturally.
🚩 Signs your Frenchie may need their glands checked:
Scooting
Chasing or licking their tail
Fishy odor
Sudden discomfort sitting
Swelling near the rear end

Keeping stools firm with a good diet and monitoring allergies can help reduce flare-ups
Because even tiny velvet hippos deserve b***y comfort. 🐶✨

These two are little pattern detectives. If every ‘ugh, nail trim’ ends with snacks, praise, cuddles, or playtime, the brain starts filing the whole experience under acceptable weird human activity instead of betrayal. Positive association is basically emotional duct tape for grooming routines 🤪

🌡️🐶 PLEASE THINK OF ANIMALS DURING THIS HEATWAVE 🐱🐰

If you’re struggling in this heat, imagine wearing a fur coat 24/7.

Please remember:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌳 Make sure pets have shade and cool spaces
🚫 Never leave animals in cars, even for “just 5 minutes”
🐾 Walk dogs early morning or late evening
✋ Test pavements with your hand. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws
🧊 Frozen treats, damp towels, cooling mats and paddling pools can really help

Watch for signs of heatstroke:
⚠️ Heavy panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Weakness or wobbling
⚠️ Vomiting
⚠️ Collapse

Please also think about wildlife:
🕊️ Leave shallow bowls of water out for birds, hedgehogs and other animals.

This weather can become dangerous very quickly. A little kindness can save a life. ❤️🐾
