😡 HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THE TEAM AT MAYDAY DOGGIE DAYCARE LOOK AFTER THEIR DOG?! PLEASE SHARE! ‼️ 😤
Honestly, I think it’s about time someone said something. I’ve heard enough now and surely I can’t be the only one who’s noticed what’s going on?!
Apparently, people are dropping their dogs off, and Mayday Doggie Daycare is keeping them entertained for hours at a time—bringing them home behaving completely differently. And from what I’ve heard, it’s happening to more and more dogs!
BUT IT GETS WORSE... 😡
Dogs are coming home absolutely exhausted after loads of exploring, playing, and having far too much fun! Some are causing absolute chaos when it's time to get in the car, barking, jumping around, and practically dragging their owners through the daycare doors. Others are completely refusing to leave when it’s time to go home!
Apparently, they've been giving them exciting adventures, letting them make loads of friends, and spoiling them rotten!
AND THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT OF ALL?! 😤
Owners are starting to suspect their dogs love the Mayday team as much as THEM! 😭🤣 Honestly, the cheek of it!
Anyway... We are the proud team at Mayday Doggie Daycare 😁 and yes, we're guilty of every single accusation! 🤣
We provide a safe, fun-filled environment with plenty of love, attention, and structured play. Every dog is treated like one of our own, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We hear this all the time. But the truth is, there is a massive difference between a professional, licensed dog daycare and a casual "hobbyist" setup. Choosing the wrong care can lead to over-exhausted dogs, behavioural issues, or worse—preventable injuries.
To keep your pup safe -
🚩 RED FLAG: Massive, overwhelming packs of dogs mixed together.
• The Standard: Even if a business has more than one staff member in the room, overcrowding creates a chaotic and dangerous pack dynamic. In a truly professional setup, there should never be more than 8 dogs in a single pack. Keeping groups tiny ensures a calm, controllable, and stress-free environment.
🚩 RED FLAG: Staff are distracted by phones, laptops, or chores.
• The Standard: A pack can change in a split second. Our staff aren't sitting on laptops or treating this like a remote work desk—they are actively engaged, on their feet, and 100% focused on your dogs the entire time they are here.
🚩 RED FLAG: The staff are just "animal lovers" with no formal training.
• The Standard: Love isn't enough when managing a pack. Our team consists of fully qualified canine professionals certified in pet first aid, canine CPR, and dog body language. We know exactly how to read subtle cues and prevent conflict before it starts.
🚩 RED FLAG: They don't ask for a vaccination record or a taster session.
• The Standard: A professional daycare strictly enforces up-to-date vaccinations and runs a rigorous temperament assessment before any dog enters the main pack.
🚩 RED FLAG: They hide their license or avoid the paperwork.
• The Standard: Legitimate businesses are fully insured and proudly display their Local Council License and star rating. If they make excuses about their paperwork, they are likely operating illegally.
Don't assume a high price means high standards. Always check everything, I love dog parents who ask a massive amount of questions, if they care that much for their dogs then they are the dog parents I want as clients! Your dog isn't just a pet; they’re family. (Photo is of two of my babies ❤️🐾)
