๐Ÿพ A Little Announcement from me and our family!๐Ÿพ

I have some exciting news to shareโ€ฆ we are expecting our first baby! ๐Ÿค We are absolutely thrilled and canโ€™t wait for this new adventure bringing them into our dog crazy family ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿถ๐ŸŽ‰

As my pregnancy progresses, I will need to make a few changes to ensure the safety of both myself, baby and all the lovely dogs I work with.
This means that I will unfortunately need to stop grooming some of my larger dogs, this is because they requires more lifting and physical handling, and even the most well-behaved dogs can move unexpectedly for a number of small reasons.
As i get further along in this journey I will also need to reduce my workload this includes the number of appointments and length of appointment I can comfortably take. But as we all know Every single dog is different, so I will have a chat with everyone individually at your pups appointments.

Thank you all for your understanding, support, and for trusting me with all your wonderful dogs. It means so much to me, and Iโ€™ll keep everyone updated as things progress.

Ahead of Bonfire Night, we have teamed up with Magic Classical for the pawfect canine calming playlist ๐ŸŽถ

Calming Pet Sounds, presented by Emma B, plays relaxing classical music to help you create a calm and soothing atmosphere for your dog to relax in. Every dog responds differently to fireworks but staying calm and using music to mask the sounds outside can help improve behaviour during fireworks season ๐ŸŽ†

The playlist is available on the Rayo app or you can tell your smart speaker to 'Ask Rayo to play Calming Pet Sounds'.

And donโ€™t forget our tips ๐Ÿ‘‡
โ€ข Plan for a cosy night-in โ€“ close the curtains, put on the radio, create a safe space for your dog and prepare with toys and treats.
โ€ข Walk your dog before it gets dark and never force your dog outside during fireworks.
โ€ข If your dog wants to hide, let them. But if your dog seeks reassurance, calmly give them attention and comfort. Research shows that ignoring them wonโ€™t help.
โ€ข Give your dog any prescribed medication before fireworks start.
โ€ข Check your house and garden are escape-proof. Your dog could try to run away if theyโ€™re scared so check your doors, windows and fences are secure.
