🌿🐟 THE 2 METRE AQUASCAPE — THE JOURNEY CONTINUES… 🐟🌿
Our 2 metre Aquatlantis aquascape continues to mature, and we think it’s looking better than ever! 💙
What started as a vision has developed into a thriving underwater landscape, with the plants filling out beautifully and the aquarium really beginning to show its character.
🎥 And then we’re going underwater…
Take a closer look at our stunning Congo Tetras as they cruise through the aquascape. Their flowing fins and flashes of colour really come alive amongst the plants — and seeing them from inside the aquarium gives a completely different perspective! 👀🐟
A display like this is never really “finished” — that’s part of the enjoyment of aquascaping. It continues to grow, change and evolve, and we’ll keep bringing you along for the journey. 🌱
💙 A few honourable mentions to some of the names helping make this display possible: Aquatlantis•
ALF Global Aquatic Distributors• Fluval UK •J&K Aquatics Ltd • AQUADIP - The best quality from Holland. • MOSS UK
👇 What do you think of the tank now? And what would you like to see us feature underwater next?

🍂🐟 POND SEASON IS DRAWING TO A CLOSE! 🐟🍂
As another pond season comes to an end, we’ve now sold out of pond plants for this year. 🌿
A big thank you to everyone who’s bought their pond plants from us this season! 💙
But we’re not quite finished yet…
🐟 We still have a selection of Comet Goldfish available
🐠 Plus a range of Koi looking for their new ponds
So if you’re looking to add a few new residents to your pond before the season finishes, pop in and have a look at what we still have available.
🌱 Pond plants will return next season!

🐡 LOOK AT THAT FACE! 😍
Meet the Green Spotted Puffer — a fish with bags of personality!
These inquisitive little characters are intelligent, interactive and quickly learn to recognise what’s going on outside their aquarium. 👀
🐌 They love crunchy foods such as snails
🦷 Hard-shelled foods help keep their growing teeth in check
🌊 Their water requirements change as they mature
🐡 And don't let that cute face fool you — they can have plenty of attitude!
Green Spotted Puffers need a more specialised setup than your average tropical fish, so come and have a chat with us before taking one home and we’ll help you understand their requirements.

🐟💛 COLIN UPDATE — LOOK AT HIM NOW! 💛🐟
We know lots of you have been asking “How’s Colin doing?”, so we thought it was time for a proper update!
The photos on the left were taken on 26th June 2025, when Colin first came to us. The photos on the right were taken today — 12th September 2026. 📸
What a difference just over a year of care has made! ❤️
Colin’s health has come on brilliantly and his colours have developed into the most incredible deep oranges and golds. 🧡✨
But one thing definitely hasn’t changed — his personality! Colin has become a real fan favourite here at Boston Aquatics & Pets, and we absolutely love how many of you come in just to see him or ask us how he’s getting on.
So, for everyone who’s been asking… Colin is thriving and looking better than ever! 🐟💛
Thank you to everyone who has followed his journey and grown to love our big pond boy as much as we have.
Who remembers Colin when he first arrived? 👀❤️
26.06.25 ➡️ 12.09.26
What a transformation! 🥹🐟
