Evie has finally realized foal creep pellets and grass are yummy. At three months old tomorrow, she has come a long way. We had a quick check of Aspen and she does still have milk but not large amounts, so we shall still keep giving her a bottle as well as foal creep pellets.

Our babies are growing up, taking carrots off our visitors, and Century's lass has come on leaps and bounds and got fully involved for the carrots.

Basil and Rascal are meeting people at the Harvest Festival at Fosdyke ; Skye, unfortunately, wasn't too fond of being out and about, so she is sulking in the trailer.

🦙 Happy World Alpaca Day!
Did you know alpacas have a distant wild cousin — the vicuña?
These beautiful Andean animals were once hunted almost to extinction, with only a few thousand left by the 1960s. Thankfully, conservation efforts and the revival of the ancient chaccu tradition helped turn things around.
Today, hundreds of thousands of vicuñas roam the Andes again. ❤️
So today we celebrate not just alpacas, but their wild cousins and an amazing conservation success story!
