We have had a great day today.
Raising funds for Breast Cancer Charities 🎀
The tombola. guess the name of the bear and guess how many sweets in the jar will continue for a few more days.
We will draw the cake raffle shortly.....

Our tombola is well stocked with lots of lovely prizes, plus we have Guess the Name of the Bear and Guess How Many Sweets in the Tub and a Cake Raffle (amazing cake made by our RVN Kate )

This Friday 23rd October we are doing our annual fundraising event for Breast Cancer charities.
We will have a tombola and other competitions and we will be mostly wearing pink and accepting any kind donations.

We have the Purple Poppies available again this year 💜
All funds raised go towards charities helping service animals who are part of our country's armed forces.
THEY ALSO SERVED 💜

Further update about our little miracle kitten who was brought in by a kind lady who found him badly injured in the road in August.
After several weeks of rest and pain relief his broken pelvis has now healed well.
Our Stray Fund enabled him to receive the care he needed.
No one came forward to claim him and he had no microchip so we then found him a loving new home.

He has settled into his new home and yesterday we saw him for his neutering operation which all went well.
He is fully mobile and enjoying a happy pain free life.
Here are some photos of him when he visited us yesterday and also of him at home relaxing 😊

Has anyone lost this handsome chap ?
He was found on Ostler Walk, Kirton. He is a young male.
If you think he may be yours please call the surgery on 01205 722696. Proof of ownership will be required (eg photos on phone).
He is currently being fostered away from the surgery.

It's a lovely day for tidying up in the garden...please be wildlife aware 🦔

If you're tidying the garden, remember to check for & other before mowing long grass, tidying wild patches, or turning compost heaps, as they are ideal places for a 's nest!
