SW Horses - Equine Experiences is part of the UK register of learning providers and is Ofsted registered. We have something for everyone who has an interest or love of horses. All activities to cover all abilities. I am passionate about promoting horse care and handling and feel that can create independence, confidence, initiative, compassion, fairness, teamwork and leadership on the yard, skills

that can be very personal and will also transfer to work and all aspects of life. This really is a full horse experience. Shared £15 per person per hour monday-friday before 3.30pm, after school hours/weekends/school holidays £20 per person per hour. Non ridden Sundays are £20 per person 9-11am. Payments can be made in cash, card, BACS, PayPal and childcare vouchers. I am a fully insured riding school with 7 horses/ponies and livery yard. I am also insured for residential pony camps, arena hire, in-house and public shows, hacking, pony days, birthday parties, carriage driving tuition/pleasure and beach rides
I am DBS checked, first aid qualified and a trained safeguarding lead. I have a competition background in British Showjumping and British Dressage and still actively competing. I have a maximum star rating for our riding establishment license from our borough council and I am a trained Special Educational Needs Coordinator. Sarah White

Pass Wide and Slow is an international campaign for road safety. Rides take place all over the country on the same day and we are pleased to be a part of it.

I ride on our local roads a lot, I also take children out on the roads .
I use this time to teach the children about road safety but unfortunately there are a lot of drivers who do not set good examples! We ask motorists to Slow down and create a safe environment for riders.

Tomorrow's ride will set off from Clough Farm as close to 11am as possible. Hopefully it will be dry enough to park on the field. The cost for each horse and rider combination is £10 and we welcome anyone who would like to join us.
Anyone that is free to walk with us would also be great as there is strength in numbers!

At our non ridden session on Sunday we started with the yard jobs and bringing the horses in. This is a good opportunity for anyone that is considering working in a yard in the future, when mucking out we talked about what an employer would be looking for and working on having good attention to detail.
When the horses were taken care of we moved on to having a look at their passports. It is an offense for a keeper with "primary care responsibilities" eg. Loaner, owner, trainer, to keep a horse that does not have a passport. Microchipping is also compulsory for all equines and a vet must implant the microchip before a passport application is made.
Everybody had the chance to have a go at filling out a passport application and learning more about it. Again a good opportunity for anyone that is considering owning or loaning a horse in the future.
