🎉 A BABY LEACHIE HAS HATCHED! 🎉

What an exciting day here at Planted Terraria Exotics! After many months thinking my pair wasn’t successfully breeding, we found some eggs. Someone then shook the eggs in the incubator but after all that. Today we welcomed a gorgeous little Leachianus Gecko into the world! 🦎💚

Also known as the New Caledonian Giant Gecko, Leachies are the largest living species of gecko, and we’re absolutely thrilled to have successfully hatched this tiny beauty! 😍

It’s always such a special moment seeing new life emerge from an egg, and we can’t wait to watch this little one grow! 🥰

🦎💙 INDONESIAN BLUE TONGUE SKINK! 💙🦎

🌿 Check out this incredible Indonesian Blue Tongue Skink! 🌿

These fascinating reptiles are known for their stunning patterns, chunky bodies and, of course, their amazing bright blue tongues! 😍

💚 A few interesting facts:
🦎 Their bright blue tongue is used to startle potential predators!
🌿 They’re omnivores, enjoying a varied diet of insects, vegetation and other suitable foods.
☀️ They love exploring and need plenty of space, warmth and humidity to thrive.
👀 Each skink has its own unique personality, making them fascinating reptiles to observe!
