Well the grass is definitely growing again! I was starting to have visions of a bald field to start autumn with, can you imagine. 😬
As much as I'm tempted to jump on the mower, I'm going to leave the first cut in months for a little while yet.
The ground and grass has had a tough time, so I want it to get a little longer and stronger before I do.

Edna has recently discovered a love of football's. Poor Lady gets a bopping and Isla has learned a valuable lesson of 'put your toys away' twice this week. 😆

Couple of days of rain and the crispy ground is starting to green up.
It'll be round our armpits soon enough. 😆

Wishing our little Granddaughter Isla a very Happy 6th Birthday. 🎉🎂🎉

She's a very impawtant part of the team here at Burt's Haven. Many of you will have met her on your first visits, scoffing biscuits to occupy her while I do the intros, sometimes in horrible weather. 😆
She's often filling holes, checking equipment and watering plants, especially through the holidays.
She's also learning kindness and consideration for all animals and nature.

Beautiful Remi brought along her little brother Basil and his brother Wally for their first visit today.
What a pair of cuties, and good girl Remi showing them how to master the equipment.

The Pups are sleeping soundly now.
