🏡🚐 We've been having quite a lot of works done on our vans recently - thank you all for your patience and your understanding as we get both Daphne and Velma back on the road! 🚑🏡

🐕🐈‍⬛ In the meantime we've been seeing some lovely patients recently, one of which is the gorgeous 8 week old puppy Steve 🥰 We came to him for his health check, and he passed with flying colours! 👏 His markings were more milking cow 🐄 then dog as you can see! He was absolutely beautiful 😍

We hope everyone is keeping well and looking forward to seeing you and your pets when you need us 🐶🐱💕

Hi everyone 👋☺️

⭐️ We wanted to say a huge thank you for all your support and your continued trust in us with your beloved pets 🐕🐈‍⬛🐇🐀 We love our jobs, coming to see you all in a less stressful environment and really getting to know all your pets, as the individuals that they are 😻 We are so lucky to do what we do and be able to help so many pets in a daily basis 🤗😸

⭐️ We loved this photo of the big lad Bruno who managed to devour a huge tub of treats with us over a couple of visits, keeping him happy whilst we treated him for a poorly ear ❤️‍🩹😆 He was such a good boy and posed for the camera at the end 👏 He's now on his way to a full recovery 🥳

🐕🐈‍⬛ Did you know we can perform spay operations in our vet vans right outside your home? 🐩🐈🏡🚐

Both our vans are fully equipped to safely and carefully perform basic surgery 💉🩸 We have our fully qualified RVNs monitoring their anaesthesia throughout 😴🩺 With the best part being there is limited stress for you and your pet 😻 No scary travelling to the vets, no long stays, and recovering when save and ready in their owns homes 🏡😍 We are so happy to offer this unique service, and we see the benefit to pets every day 🙏

All 4 of our patients below had their spay operations inside one of our vans ❤️‍🩹 Each one has done amazing and made a full recovery 👏 🤗

First up is the sweetest girl Quinn, she's a frenchie X shih tzu! A really lovely mix of breeds 🐶 Second is the cutest kitty Cali who also received her microchip when under her anaesthesia 🐱 Third is the baby girl Hollie, who was so tiny but coped so well 🥰 And finally Blu the stunning long haired grey cat, looking perfect for the camera 👌🐈‍⬛

😺 Everyone meet Socks! 🐈

We went to see Socks for his first vaccine as he's only 13 weeks old 😍 We advised his pawrents about the importance of castration and microchipping; which is now mandatory for cats as well as dogs 🐕🐈‍⬛💉🩺

😺 Did you know that we can do all this (and much more!) in our fully equipped vet vans just outside your door? 🏡🚑 We have a Vet and a nurse attend each house call where our experienced RVNs monitor your pet closely under anaesthesia 🩺💊 plus each pet gets the added benefit of recovering in their own home, stress free 🥰

If you haven't noticed yet, Socks has the perfect moustache 😻😼! Also, he was thought to be a girl before we looked and saw he was in fact a boy... phew! 😆🥸

😻 We've seen some real cuties recently in our vet vans 😍🚐 we thought we would share with everyone so to start off their bank holiday weekend well!! 😀

Meet Tango 😻 the gorgeous ginger ninja kitten needing his first vaccine! He wasn't in the best of moods with us (bless him 😾) so here he is in his home later... looking adorable 😍

Next up is the beautiful Pip 🐈‍⬛ who was using Magda our new vet as a cat tree! 🤩 what an awesome photo of the 2 of them 👌 We went to Pip for his castration and microchipping 👏🐈

Then we have the handsome chap cane corso puppy, one of 13! 🐕😮 needing his first vaccine 💉 What a gorgeous gentle giant at only a couple months old here 🥰

And finally here's the tiniest mini lop bunny called Gabriel 🐇🐰😍 Gabriel was only 400 grams, but he did so well getting his full bunny vaccination course 👏💉

⭐️🌾Information post about grass seeds🌾⭐️

Grass seed season is still upon us and these pesky little things can cause our dogs so much bother when out on walks in fields and grassy areas! 🦮🐕‍🦺🌳

We come across approximately one grass seed patient every week at this time of the year 😔 They can unfortunately get anywhere in the body, but the typical areas are the ears, feet and eyes 👀🐕

Poor guy Sydney the golden doodle of 7 years old had a run in with several in his one foot. He needed sedating (you can hear him snoring in the background! 😍) to have them removed. He's since made a full recovery bless him! 🐶

There is a foxtail mesh face guard which we sometimes recommend for dogs out on walks, this will protect them against grass seeds entering the ears, eyes and from being inhaled. ⭐️ We hope you and your pets have a lovely weekend ahead! 🐕‍🦺🐈‍⬛☺️

We wanted to share with you timeline photos of the gorgeous Betty 😍 Betty the cockapoo first came to us as young puppy, needing her vaccinations 💉 here she is in the first photo cute as a button! 🤗

Betty then had her spay operation in one of our vans as a young adult 🏡🚐 Receiving the benefits of recovering in the comfort of her own home ❤️‍🩹 This was her just before her operation in the second photo! 🤩

And finally this is Betty now as a 2 year old, living her best life all grown up 🥰🐶 We see Betty every year for her annual vaccines, bravecto injection for year round flea and tick prevention and wormers 🩺 All this is covered in our health care plan which we offer for cats and dogs! 🐕🐈

We are so grateful and get so much pleasure out of seeing patients like Betty every year for their check ups and helping them when they are under the weather ❤️‍🩹🚐🩺 Thank you Betty for being the best girl for our visits, we look forward to seeing you again ❤️🐕

Hi everyone 👋

Meet Tilly 🐱 She unfortunately sustained an injury in the first few hours of her life ❤️‍🩹😿 her foot had been taken away just leaving a stump, as you can see from the photos 🙁 Her dedicated human mum had an ongoing job keeping the stump and her environment as clean as possible, so she didn't get an infection 🐈‍⬛🐈

Fast forward a couple months and Tilly was thriving despite her challenges 🥰🥲 yet the stump kept being traumatised, as she tried to use her leg... unfortunately it was just getting in the way 😔

We made the hard decision to amputate her leg so to give her the best chance to thrive and not be held back by the injury 💉🩺 Tilly was amazing throughout the procedure and in her recovery 🤩 👏 This is her navigating her 3 legs like a pro only 10 days after her procedure! 🥰 Cats cope extremely well with 3 legs, and she's an example of this... well done beautiful girl you are such a trooper! 😻

🐾 Betty’s Story – Don’t Ignore Frequent Trips to the Litter Tray! 🐾

Meet beautiful Betty. 💚

When Betty’s owner noticed she was repeatedly going in and out of her litter tray without her usual success, they knew something wasn’t quite right and gave us a call.

Following a thorough examination, Betty was diagnosed with cystitis (inflammation of the bladder). Thankfully, her owner acted quickly, allowing us to start treatment and help get Betty feeling much more comfortable.

🐱 Signs of cystitis to look out for include:
• 🚽 Frequent trips to the litter tray
• ⚠️ Passing only small amounts of urine
• 😿 Straining or crying when trying to urinate
• 🩸 Blood in the urine
• 🧼 Urinating outside the litter tray
• 🫣 Excessive licking around the ge***al area
• 😔 Changes in behaviour, hiding or seeming uncomfortable

🚨 A very important reminder: If your cat is unable to pass urine at all, especially if they are a male cat, this is a medical emergency. A urinary blockage can become life-threatening very quickly and requires immediate veterinary attention.
