Fireworks! Love them or hate them - they're still here and can bring many days of stress to pet owners. I know it's only the start of September but the nights are getting darker and it won't be long before some wee ned is setting off fireworks, well before November 5!
It might be worth starting to think about what you can do to help your dog if it hates them - the neds and the fireworks!
Maybe you need to make an appointment with your vet to have a discussion about calming medication? Your vet will need to look at your dog's age, health and weight before prescribing medication.
You might want to go down the non-medication route. There are anti-anxiety solutions including desensitisation tapes and herbal remedies.
