💔 DEVASTATING NEWS:
WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CLOSE OUR DOORS 💔

With breaking hearts, we are writing the words we never thought we would have to say: we are officially closing our doors.
The catastrophic UK rescue crisis has left us and all other rescues completely broken, facing a devastating lack of funds, zero kennel space, and a tragic drop in adoptions. We can no longer take in or help a single animal until our current residents are safely rehomed.

We are legally insured for 40 animals, but we have already exceeded that safety limit, and a list of 12 more are waiting for us to help them.

If you are an intake team or a rescue with space that can help any of the urgent animals on our waiting list, please message us for details 🙏

If you have already applied to adopt, please reapply so you are top of the list. We have a backlog in admin due to transferring to our new software .

We have 13 kittens and 3 cats, alongside 7 dogs, who are fully ready to leave for their forever homes today.

They need your love, and we need their spaces to reopen our doors and keep saving lives, so please, share this, adopt from us, and help us pull through this nightmare 🙏

💔 BEHAVIOUR CHALLENGES AREN’T A DEAD END—THEY JUST NEED PATIENCE 💔

Our waiting lists are growing every day, and many dogs are facing surrender because of behaviour changes at home.
We are seeing more and more owners struggle with issues like nipping, jealousy, and resource guarding.
It is heartbreaking, because these aren't "bad" dogs.
They are often just stressed, confused, or lacking boundaries, and these behaviours can be corrected and managed with the right training and guidance.
When rescues are full, giving up on a dog with behavioural issues often means they have nowhere left to go.
We want to help keep dogs in their homes, or prepare them for their next step, but we cannot do it alone.

Here is how you can help us tackle this crisis today:

🐕Join Our Frontline Team:
If you have any experience or just keen to learn some skills, come and help at our training and behaviour sessions. If you are a behaviourist with a dog in training, come along for socialisation with our dogs. Repeated introductions and interactions with many unknown dogs is a key factor in desensitising reactive dogs.

🏡 Foster Experienced Homes:
If you have experience with dog training or handling minor behaviour quirks, your help is desperately needed. Fostering a dog that needs a little extra guidance and boundary-setting completely transforms their future.
💻 Join Our Admin Team:
Help us manage the influx of surrender enquiries. By joining our team, you can help us coordinate with foster homes, send out helpful training resources to struggling owners, and keep our rescue moving.

💳 Support Us:
Help us provide veterinary care, training aids, calming foods, boarding, transports or just help pay towards our running costs by donating or supporting us. Even likes, comments and shares help to get our posts seen.

📞 Contact us:
If you are struggling with your dog’s changing behavior or dealing with highly stressful situations like resource guarding, severe nipping, or aggressive dogs, please contact our rescue today. Our fully qualified trainers and behaviourist are here to provide the expert advice, professional behavioral reports, realistic prognoses, and structured hands-on training plans you need to restore safety and peace to your home. We understand how overwhelming these challenges can be, and we are committed to offering the professional support and guidance needed to manage complex behavioral issues -

KEEPING A FAMILY TOGETHER ✈️🚘

When Alaska’s owner emigrated to Spain 🇪🇸, they faced the heartbreaking prospect of leaving their beloved dog behind 💔
But at Animal Alliance we believe families belong together.
Instead of taking her into the rescue and looking for a new home, we stepped in to help bridge the gap.

Today was a huge milestone. Alaska visited the vet and officially received her rabies vaccination. This kicks off the mandatory countdown required for her international paperwork.

Once she is legally cleared to travel, a dedicated member of our own team will be personally transporting her to Spain to reunite her with her owner!

By helping this dedicated owner navigate the complex transport process, we aren't just saving a family from heartbreak—we are also keeping a rescue space free for another dog who has absolutely no one.

Moving a dog across borders requires a lot of teamwork, paperwork, and vet costs. Pet Passports can no longer be used. Please message if you need any help or advice regarding the process ✈️🚘

❤️ SAFE WITH US ❤️

🚨 URGENT EMERGENCY APPEAL🚨

Following an emergency involving police, an elderly, female Staffy has been left alone in a property. Due to her age and the current heatwave, she is in a highly vulnerable position, we do not know if she has food and water, or how long she has been alone- but we cannot keep taking emergencies without your help.

🏠 We desperately need people to adopt our current rescue animals. Freeing up space is the only way we can physically take any more into our care. Please message to see all our available animals.

🏥 Alongside adopters for our current residents, we also need foster homes (including for today's elderly girl) a fundraising coordinator and a front line transporter (van provided)
Please message if you can help 🐾
