Ryders Farm is a family run business, established 25 years ago by Sarah Fitton, a BHS Stage 5 performance coach in Complete Horsemanship. We are a BHS approved Riding School and Livery Yard, an Official Pony Club Centre and approved by the Local Authority. We specialise in riding lessons for all ages and abilities, encouraging people to enjoy the sport of riding and love horses as we do. We are always happy to see new faces (and old friends) and you are welcome to visit our yard, but please, no dogs. We know sometimes the urge to see, touch, talk to and yes, even smell a pony, is overwhelming so even if you’re not riding feel free to visit us, feed the ducks, chat to others on the yard, have a coffee and enjoy yourself. Our instructors, yard staff, reception and admin are all dedicated to ensure that your experience at Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre – whether owner, visitor, student, parent, rider , horse or pony - is one which you enjoy and treasure.

Hi everyone! By popular demand, we’re excited to announce that we’re hosting a Christmas Eve Musical Dressage Competition, open to all members! 🎶🐴

Talking about Christmas already?! 😱 We know, but we’re giving you plenty of notice to get your routines planned, choose your music and start brainstorming with your instructors about choreography and practice!

It’ll work just like our successful musical dressage competition in the summer, but with a very festive twist 🎄 Christmas themes, your favourite Christmas soundtracks and plenty of fun!

This is a pressure-free, supportive competition and we’d love to see as many people get involved as possible. Just give it a go! Our staff and coaches are ready to help inspire your routines, so you definitely don’t have to come up with it all on your own.

Think this could be something fun to do with your favourite horse or pony this Christmas? Speak to your coach and let them know! And of course, ask them any questions you have.

Booking are open NOW on EC Pro!

📅 Date: Thursday 24th December 2026
⏰ Times: Please be flexible with timings
🫂 Spectators are more than welcome!
