🍂 As we get stuck into autumn, let’s talk about some of our favourite pond products to help keep your pond happy & healthy! 🐟💦

🪨 Mediclay – Helps replenish minerals & trace elements, while supporting skin, colour and overall koi health. Also a great flocculant giving you that all important water clarity!

🐟 As we head towards autumn, now is the time to start moving your Koi away from high-protein summer diets! ☀️ As the water temperature drops 🌡️, Koi’s metabolism slows down, meaning they don’t process high levels of protein as efficiently🍂Continuing to feed a high-protein food in cooler water can put unnecessary strain on their digestive system and lead to more waste in the pond 💩

💦Start scaling back now by switching to a wheatgerm-based food 🌾, or simply blending wheatgerm in with your summer feed 🥣 Our Staple Diet is also a great option for this time of year, giving your Koi a balanced, easier-to-digest food as temperatures begin to fall🌡️ The aim is to gradually adjust their diet before winter arrives… don’t leave it until the water gets cold! ❄️🥶🐟
