LOOKING FOR A PET COURIER? 🐾 PLEASE CHECK WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR.

When choosing someone to transport your beloved pet, price shouldn't be the only thing you compare.

There is a difference between simply finding the cheapest quote and choosing a properly authorised, professional pet transport service.

At Prestige Pet Services, I have invested heavily in my business, my vehicle and the welfare standards required to provide a professional pet transport service.

✅ Type 2 Animal Transporter Authorisation
✅ Fully insured
✅ Professional, high-quality transport vehicle
✅ One-to-one pet transport
✅ Your pet isn't simply one of many animals being transported with multiple drop-offs
✅ Over 20 years' animal transportation experience
✅ Your pet's comfort, safety and welfare are my priority
What's the difference between Type 1 and Type 2?

According to current GOV.UK guidance, a Type 1 authorisation covers journeys over 65km and up to 8 hours. A Type 2 authorisation is required for journeys over 8 hours.
If your pet's journey is going to be a long one, ask your transporter what type of authorisation they hold.
You can also check the official monthly list of Type 2 authorised transporters here:
Official September 2026 Type 2 Authorised Transporters List

I've also included a sample of the official Type 2 authorisation document below, so you can see what you're looking for.
Don't be afraid to ask your pet transporter questions.

A professional transporter should be happy to explain their authorisation and provide the appropriate documentation when requested. APHA specifically advises customers hiring a transporter to make sure they hold the appropriate transporter authorisation and says authorised transporters should make their documents available to view.

When it comes to your pet, cheapest isn't always best. ❤️🐾

🐾 MOVING HOUSE WITH CATS?

Moving home can be stressful enough, especially for your cats.

Recently I collected beautiful Mamma, Harry & Ziggy from Manchester and transported them safely to their new home in Elgin, that’s an 8-hour journey. Your cats can all travel together or completely separate.
Lots of room to move around.

They arrived relaxed, happy and settled.
For this house move, I also transported their scratch posts, litter trays, toys and food bowls completely FREE, helping make their journey and arrival as easy as possible.

😻 Nervous or anxious cats?
Your pets receive plenty of reassurance, love and individual care throughout their journey. I use pet pheromone spray and catnip where appropriate, and my comfortable van allows your cats to travel safely with regular access to food and fresh water.

Another little delivery… that I REALLY didn’t want to make!

There are some deliveries where you simply do your job, hand over the precious cargo and drive away…
…and then there are deliveries like THIS little sweetheart! 🥹❤️

I completely fell in love with this gorgeous little kitten on the journey. Those eyes, those whiskers, that cheeky little face… honestly, I was starting to wonder whether I should tell the new family that the kitten had mysteriously decided to stay with me!

“Sorry, your kitten appears to have been kidnapped by the courier because she’s just TOO adorable!” 😹
Sadly for me, I did behave myself and delivered this beautiful baby safely into the loving arms of their new family. ❤️🐾
As much as I wanted to put the brakes on and say “I’m keeping this one!”, knowing that she was going to a wonderful new home made handing her over that little bit easier. 🥰

Another precious little passenger safely delivered by Prestige Pet Services — with lots of cuddles, a few kisses and a very reluctant goodbye! 💕🐾

🐾 FOUR SIBLINGS • FOUR HAPPY JOURNEYS

Last week I had the pleasure of transporting four beautiful Australian Labradoodle puppies — all siblings — for the lovely Northbound Australian Labradoodles. 🐶❤️

Northbound Australian Labradoodles UK

All pups were collected early from Manchester and delivered safely to their excited new families across London, with expert timing and careful planning.
Every client was kept updated throughout their puppy’s journey with regular messages and live location sharing, giving them reassurance every step of the way.
It’s a big step to trust a stranger with your puppy, I understand that.

📍🐾
The result? Four very happy puppies and four very excited and satisfied new owners! ❤️

☁️🐾 Today’s little passenger is beautiful Kumori! 🐾☁️

Kumori (曇り or くもり) means cloudy weather, cloudiness, or an overcast sky in Japanese. What a beautiful name with such a lovely meaning. ♥️

I collected little Kumori from a lovely breeder in Blackpool and safely delivered her to her very excited new owner in the Steam Packet lounge. 🚢🐱

Kumori was such a confident, happy and friendly little girl. She took everything in her stride and was an absolute pleasure to transport. 🥰
She is now off to start her wonderful new life on the Isle of Man, where she has three new cat friends waiting for her — and I have a feeling she’ll soon be the boss of the two resident dogs! 😂👑🐶🐶

Need your pet transported to or from the Isle of Man?

🐾❤️ AUGUST… WHAT A MONTH! ❤️🐾
August is always my busiest month, and this year has certainly been no exception! 🐶🐱
I’ve been busy transporting gorgeous kittens to London, Southampton, Glasgow and the Isle of Man, as well as helping puppies travel from Manchester and Scotland down to London. 🚐🐾

If I’ve missed an enquiry or haven’t got back to you as quickly as I normally would, I’m so sorry! 🙈 I’m doing my absolute best to keep up with messages, bookings and, most importantly, looking after all the precious little passengers in my care. ❤️
Every pet I transport is treated with love, kindness and patience from the moment I collect them until they’re safely reunited with their new family. 🐾
I’m proud to support breeders and new owners, and I never consider my job finished until you’re totally happy and reassured. 🥰
And remember… no question is ever a daft question!
If you’re nervous, excited or simply want to know how everything works, please ask. I’m always happy to help. ❤️

Because I’m more than just a courier — I genuinely care about the pets I transport and the people waiting for them at the other end. 🐶🐱🐾

Thank you to everyone who continues to trust Prestige Pet Services with their precious babies. It really does mean the world to me. ❤️

Pet collection from Pets on Jets at Manchester Airport and direct delivery home to Bridlington.

Had to take my little dog Fizz with me because she refused to get out of the work van when she realised I was going on a job 🤣

Collected Buddy off the Dubai flight and gave him a little walk, only problem was he refused to stay the right way up!
He was rolling over and over. Obviously delighted to be back on British soil.
After a quick pheromone crate spray that he probably didn’t need, we were on our way.

Safety delivered to a happy Mum and a happy little Fizz that got to spend the day with me♥️
