Hi guys, gals & furry friends.
I’m not teaching anyone how to suck eggs but it’s very important in this weather to be so mindful. As many of you are aware I’ve had to cancel this weeks walks with the extreme weather. I have done some early morning walks. In these instances where I do them I always
✅ soak the back of dogs neck before & after (short walk)
✅carry a bottle of water
✅keep to shaded areas
✅walk next to rivers
✅lead walks
I can’t stress enough how important it is to follow simple rules IF you have to walk them.
If you want to put yourself in your dogs position. Put a big furry coat on and walk on the concrete with bare feet.
missing a walk wont kill your dog but walking your dog might
