Kay entered into 5 categories in the Pet Stylist Groom Off Summer Online grooming competition. Over the moon to have been placed in 3 and a special mention in a fourth one. Placing were;
2nd in Mediates Breed it Up Poodle with Izzi
2nd in Mediates Pedigree with Brandi
2nd in Mediates Puppy with Winnie
Then a special mention in OAP’s with Kay’s very own 15 year old Toy poodle Siren.
So grateful to the amazing judges for all your hard work and especially to Ky Marie for organising the competition. ###

Kay couldn’t have timed a long weekend off better. No need to move any appointments over the next few days as we are off to the Sherwood Harley Davidson Rally from tommorow x hope everyone enjoys the weather and the weekend. X

For the safety and wellbeing of our furry clients, we will be cancelling all appointments scheduled after 2:00 pm for the remainder of this week and will endeavour to rearrange them to early morning appointments wherever possible.

Despite running air conditioning throughout the salon, temperatures became uncomfortably high this afternoon. Conditions remained manageable with air conditioning up until 2:00 pm, but we do not feel it is in our clients’ best interests to continue grooming later in the day during this period of hot weather.

Please also note that some dogs may not be fully dried if they are struggling with the heat. Your pet’s health, comfort, and welfare will always take priority over achieving a perfect groom.

All dogs are offered fresh water throughout their appointments and are given additional breaks as needed to ensure they remain comfortable and safe.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this warm spell.

There is some 30 degree heat forecast this week so please note appointments may take longer than normal. This is to give your dogs more breaks with opportunities to drink fresh water. We will also be drying with a cooler heat setting which takes longer.
We have air conditioning and as a single groomer cabin it does a great job at keeping the salon cooler.
