Honestly, it’s been absolutely nonstop, but the good news is… we haven’t melted! 🥵🙄

We’ve somehow managed to convince everyone to get up early and do one group walk☺️! We’ve been doing our walks first thing in the morning or fitting in home visits!

Somehow, we’ve made it through the worst of the heat, and I’m hoping things are finally starting to cool down a little so we can have a bit more fun again. ❤️

I’m so sorry I haven’t managed to give you all many updates. It’s been one of the busiest summers we’ve ever had, despite the heat, and we’ve genuinely been nonstop.

But here they are… happy, enjoying themselves and having a great time. 🐾❤️

Thursday group walk 🐾☺️

Our early morning walks are a must at the moment as the heat just doesn't seem to ease! 😬🌞 The doggies are much happier exploring while it's still nice and cool.

Give us a few months and we promise we won't be complaining that it's too wet or too cold! 🤣🐶

It's been a busy time with plenty of dog walking, but most importantly, we somehow survived the heatwave! ☀️🐾 With the hot weather, we had far more drop-in visits than walks to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

The coming days will be even busier with more ad hoc walks as the school holidays and holiday season are now in full swing. We're looking forward to spending more time with all our lovely four-legged friends! 🐶🐾💜

It's far too hot for dogs to find kibble very exciting, so today I made them frozen lick mats. A couple of hours in the freezer and they absolutely loved them! 🥰❄️🐾

It's another great way to keep them happy and occupied while staying safely indoors during the heat. They had a very early morning walk before it got too warm, and because I'm sitting with them for a week, they got to learn to raise early 😁 they're being thoroughly spoiled!🤣 😁❤️

I did the same with their evening meal too, told you I spoil dogs all the time 🐶🐾💕

Making the most of being stuck at home in this heat! ☀️🐶

Here's a fun enrichment idea to keep your dog entertained and mentally stimulated. Simply pop a few treats into a roller toy and let them figure out how to get them out.

Safe, engaging, and a great way to burn off some energy when it's too hot for walks. As you can see, she absolutely loved it! ❤️🐾

Had one walk today and we set off at 7:30am 😬☺️ Nice and early!

Luckily, they all had company during the day, so an early morning walk worked perfectly for everyone🐾

I popped in to visit Winnie at home for some company and cuddles. 💕

With temperatures like these, it's simply too hot to be walking dogs after 9am. Their safety and wellbeing always come first. Please keep your pups cool, provide plenty of fresh water, and save walks for the cooler parts of the day. 🥵🐾💗

No dog should be walked after 9am in this heat! If you miss the early morning, please wait until late in the evening, I was walking mine at 9pm last nigh and today will be the same. It's simply not worth the risk❤️‍🩹

I was out at 7:15 this morning to collect my treasures. I carry 1.5lt water andy first aidkit with plenty of water breaks and by 9am it was already feeling 🥵. it is very sad to see that hardly anyone carry water🥹

Please put your dog's safety before sticking to a routine. Hot pavements and high temperatures can quickly become dangerous. They'd much rather miss a walk than suffer from heat exhaustion or burned paws. 🐾❤️

But they walk their dog in mid day🥹💔 The women at Hawthorn rd yesterday, that was around mid day...you got to be heartless to do that? Your dog was dragging himself, shame on you!

Some schools in England and Wales will be shut on Wednesday, others are closing early. Meanwhile, 40 people have drowned in France since a heatwave began last week.
