Well done to for her amazing performance representing Team GBR at The Nations Cup in France!
The team claimed 2nd place 🥈- what an achievement! Kate grew up down the road from us and popped in on a gap year (about 22 years ago!)to ask if we needed any extra help. We have many happy memories of us all out eventing together! Kate has kindly shared a few words for us:
“There are always key moments in a riding career that define things for you. Training and working with Trilby many years ago was the first time I had the experience of a mentor. I didn’t really know how to ride a 20m circle and I had quite a hot seat! Those years marked the beginning of me understanding horsemanship and working with the horse and respecting its body and way of going. So thank you! “ Well done Kate! We are all very proud of you! 👏🏻 🍾💪🇬🇧

Little Downham Regional Championships! Great day in lovely October sunshine. Bridie did an obedient test and a lovely double clear for 9th place! Worth the long drive. Thank you to for our lesson and your hospitality en route! Looking forward Bicton 3 day in a few weeks!

Lenny the Shetland is ready to go eventing with his fresh clip! (Not sure if he would make the time or the distance but he would give it a good go!)

What a fantastic setting @ Kingston Maurward Horse Trials. Beautiful rolling cross country with enough tests and a very atmospheric show jumping arena. Bridie tried hard - fun cross country round but sadly a couple of rails in the SJ. She hasn’t had a SJ fault yet this season but I think the atmosphere and hard ground just took the edge off us. Few weeks to focus on dressage and SJ before Portman late July. Let’s hope for some rain to soften things up! 🥰

Girl power! 2 freshly baled paddocks cleared by Trilby and Lucy with help from Oli the bale roller! Trying to remain calm as the rain and lightening was quickly coming across the valley towards us BUT we got it all in the dry IN TIME! What a lovely activity on the hottest evening of the year 😂

Lovely day at Oxstalls! Double clear for Bridie over a decent track. Plenty to think about and beautifully built. Great to be back in the zone and feeling confident after Lucy’s dismount the other day!

Another one bites the dust!! Forgot to pack the parachute! Air Jacket - Get well soon Lucy 🥰
