Just how a lunge roller should be👌
I have been waiting for what feels like forever,to finally use this roller and so pleased with how it fits!
Having used multiple rollers over the years, both for my own and using clients, ive never been happy with how they fit.
Ive used the nylon ones with that 'glorious' fleece lining, with no support whatsoever.🤢
The memory foam ones with the pads that were so soft, they'd just deflate the moment you'd do the girth up.🙃
And the synthetic ones with their so called 'comfort pannels' that are infact thick, rock solid blocks that make you wince just looking at them😣
Dont get me wrong, they all do the job you may want them to do but have you ever really stripped it back and studied the fit of them?
This roller and the 'flex-fit' are my top go-to's👌
☑️The wither clearance is by far the best and can suit multiple horses. Ember's as flat as a table so doesnt have a prominent wither however it still allows her the freedom to move without pressure being applied across her spine - unlike like most rollers!
☑️The pads are firm but supportive and contour around the horse rather than others that just sit deep, right behind the scapula, affecting the horses movement.
☑️And finally, multiple D- Rings and 'driving' rings that can be removed! So youre not limited to just 'a few' options. Which means youre able to adjust your lunge lines, side reins ect to what will benefit the horses overall posture! Especially during groundwork/rehab.
I always use a roller pad to help distribute even pressure and of course to prevent chaffing *personal preference* but as you can see from the photos, it doesnt affect the fit whatsoever!
Apart from my clipping side of the business, im not normally one for promoting the tools that I use but I'm over the moon with finally having a leather roller that ticks all the boxes🙌
Hopefully tomorrow, we can put it to some use and kick start Embers rehab💪
