We’ve had some very special arrivals! 🫧 Our new Black and Leucistic Axolotls are now swimming comfortably and ready for their new homes. Which colour do you prefer?!

These "Mexican Walking Fish" are absolute showstoppers, with their permanent smiles and feathery external gills. Whether you prefer the sleek, striking look of our Black specimens or the bright, ethereal charm of the Leucistic variety, they make for a truly unique display.

Thinking of welcoming one? Here is what you need to know:

😎A Cool Environment: They thrive in cool water (16–18°C is ideal).

🏠The Setup: A cycled aquarium is essential. We recommend a fine sand substrate (to avoid ingestion) and plenty of hiding spots to keep them happy and stress-free - full kits available in-store

🥰Expert Care: They aren't fish, they're neotenic salamanders! They have specific needs, so if you're new to keeping them, our team is on hand to help you get your setup perfect.

We are open Saturday 10.30-17.30 and Sunday 10.30-16.30 - If you are popping into see us following the IHS show, let us know if you need us to get your order ready for collection on the way home.
