Toby has had a little pampering session today… and doesn’t he look smart! 🐾✂️

A huge thank you to The Barker Shop for fitting our little pawject manager in at the last minute. We really appreciate you coming to the rescue, and Toby certainly looks like he’s enjoyed his VIP treatment!

Our hard-working pawject manager is now taking a well-earned two-day holiday, so you’ll have to wait just a little longer before you see the landlord back on duty. In the meantime, Joanne and I will be holding the fort while he’s away… although we suspect he’ll still be checking in to make sure we’re doing everything to his exacting standards! 🐶😂

Thanks again to The Barker Shop for taking such great care of Toby. We’d highly recommend them! ❤️

🌞 Wow… this weather is just too much! 🥵

For the safety and wellbeing of both our lovely dogs and our team, we’ve made the decision to close the salon early over the last few days. As much as we love seeing your furry friends, it’s simply not safe to have dogs out and about in these extreme temperatures.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing clients for being so understanding and accommodating with rescheduling your appointments. Your kindness and support mean the world to us. ❤️

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and will continue to do what’s best for everyone. Stay cool, stay safe, and give your pups plenty of water, shade, and cuddles! 🐶💦

We are extremely busy in the salon at the moment and all four of us are now fully booked for the next 4–6 weeks 😅

If your dog is due a groom soon, please don’t leave it too late as you will be waiting a while for an appointment.

I can’t believe I’m even writing this but…. THE BARKER SHOP is 5 years old today 🐶✂️

It honestly started as a bit of a “let’s see if this works” and somehow turned into a full-on business with the best clients and dogs I could ask for.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me, stuck with me, recommended me, and trusted me with your dogs (especially the ones that don’t make it easy 😂).

It genuinely means more than I probably ever say. I appreciate every single one of you.

Here’s to keeping your pups looking fresh for a few more years yet 🐾💕
