We're excited to launch the new Summer Furbaby Photo Competition in aid of the amazing Fylde Kids Foundation! ❤️

For just £3 per entry, your furry friend could win a rosette, a 20% discount off their next groom, and a goody bag – all while helping local children in need.

📸 How to enter: • Send your favourite summer-themed photo of your dog to: [email protected] along with your dogs name.

Entries open NOW & close 15th July then public voting opens 20th July & will close 23rd August.

🏆 Winners will be decided by YOU! As I just wouldn't be able to chose! Once photos are uploaded, simply share your photo and encourage friends and family to like it. The photos with the most likes in each category will win!

Every penny raised will go to Fylde Kids Foundation to help provide much-needed school uniforms for local children before the new school term begins.

Wheres all my short coated dogs at?? ...

Short coats are often seen as “low maintenance”—and while they’re easier, they still need regular care to keep skin and coat healthy.

So here’s some useful information ...

Short-haired dogs shed more than people anticipate. Brushing 1/2 times a week helps remove loose hair, reduce shedding hair laying around the home, and distribute natural oils for a healthy shine. Recommended use of rubber brushes/grooming gloves as these work well to lift out dead hair without irritating the skin.

As your furbabies coat is short, skin condition is more visible. Regular grooming every 8-12 weeks helps remove dirt, dander, and buildup that can lead to irritation & don’t forget even short-coated breeds need their nail trimming, ears cleaning & their on show skin moisturised which comes part of the grooming package.

Remember low maintenance doesn’t actually mean no maintenance!!! To model the good amount of brushed out shedding coat (not to even show the amount that was removed in the bath) below is the lovely Reggie 🤎
