Thanks to everyone who donated and gave hints and tips, 21 miles (61000 steps) done and dusted 🎉 We had so much luck with the weather, and a great atmosphere 👍

Our own Jess is taking part in the 21 mile kilt walk this coming Sunday with her pharmacy placement colleagues at Blackburn pharmacy. Any small donations (or survival hints and tips!) are most gratefully received 🙂

This Sunday our staff from both our Blackburn and Bathgate pharmacies are taking on the 21-mile Mighty Stride Kiltwalk, raising money for the charity Re-engage.

Re-engage is a volunteer led charity that helps make life less lonely for older people, providing tea parties, gatherings and days out.

Our amazing colleague Margaret, or you may know her as “Wee Mags”, is one of the amazing volunteers who works closely with Re-engage, so this charity is very close to our hearts.

Any donations would be extremely appreciated and would help support the amazing work Re-engage does for older people in our community.

🐾 DD ANNOUNCEMENT 🐾

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has recommended our pet sitting services recently! We are incredibly grateful for the amazing word-of-mouth and the faith you place in us to care for your furry family members. ❤️

Because we want to make sure our current pack gets the dedicated attention they deserve, we are officially closing our books to new clients for the time being. This ensures our existing Deputy Dogs family gets top priority for all their pet sitting needs. 🐕

We will post another update as soon as we have more availability. Thank you all so much for your understanding and ongoing support!

Sun, sniffs, and smiles! ☀️🐾

Walks in the sunshine, relaxed afternoon naps, and plenty of happy dogs—it's been a busy but beautiful August for Deputy Dogs Pet Sitting 🙂

18/07/2026

Beautiful Poppy's owners attended an all day wedding this weekend, a perfect fit for our day sit service! Spend the day away without worrying about your pet being left alone for too long, knowing they are safe and happy in the company of Deputy Dogs 😍

Our latest pet sit had beagles galore as we looked after mum and her 2 boys, plus some gorgeous cats and some fish. It was lovely to see them all so happy and relaxed, and we never tired of the beagle bay welcome!!

It was an absolute pleasure pet sitting our first border terriers! Teddy and Winston behaved impeccably and settled right into the Deputy Dogs routine. They both have quite different temperaments and personalities, but the Kennel Club describes border terriers as 'plucky, affectionate and even-tempered', which very much represents these two otter headed beauties 🥰

We pet sit more dachshunds in the Deputy Dogs family than any other breed, for such small dogs they have such massive personalities! After a day of keeping us humans safe from rabbits, other dogs and posties (as well as helping with the cardboard recycling..) it's always rewarding to see them looking relaxed and content😍

Our pet sit dog Zena is enjoying her visits to Blackness - digging holes in the sand and the smell of rabbits everywhere, it's a dog's dream!
