Just a couple of weeks to go until our Open Day, which is going to be amazing day!
The day kicks off at 11am and run until 4pm. There will be loads going on all day, from fun Dog Show, craft stalls, demonstrations and tours. We have some very special guests!

There will also be yummy food available from Gourmet Kitchen and Bibbys Ice Cream.

We can't wait! We hope to see you there!

Today we say a sad farewell to Mikhela. Mikhela joined us on a one year internship last September having just qualified as a veterinary surgeon. She has very much become of the family here at H&J and we will miss her very much.

We wish her all the very best with her next adventure!

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘃𝗲𝘁, 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲!

We are delighted to introduce you to the newest member of the team, Alice!
Alice joined us a few weeks ago, direct from the Royal Veterinary College, following her graduation earlier this Summer, and she is already making her mark at H&J.

Alice will be working on both sides of H&J, treating small animal and equine cases, so is very much looking forward to meeting your animals, large or small! She has a particular interest in small animal internal medicine and enjoys getting out and about for equine and farm animal work.

Rumour has it, outside of work, she's a bit of a dab hand at baking and cooking too! 😋She'll fit right in here!

Hopefield Animal Sanctuary & Visitor Centre

Our lovely Johnny headed back to The Horse Clinic (House & Jackson) for 7-10 days on Monday, to begin his second round of treatment for the cancer affecting his eyes.

Unfortunately, his first round of treatment didn’t work quite as well as we’d hoped so we’re really keeping everything crossed that this time we see a much better response 🙏🏼

Johnny has been such a brave boy throughout all of this, taking everything in his stride as always. He’s very much loved by everyone here at Hopefield, and it’s never easy seeing one of our animals having to go through something like this 💔

Please keep him in your thoughts over the coming days and send lots of love his way. We know so many of you have been rooting for him since we first shared his diagnosis, and your support has meant the absolute world to us.

Come on Johnny… we’re all behind you🤞🏼💙
