At Dargavel Holiday Hutches we aim to provide your pets with a safe and caring environment during their stay with us. Claire has a qualification in animal care and has cared for a variety of different animals over the years. Rabbits and guinea pigs can stay with us on an all inclusive basis, this means we provide their accommodation, food, fresh veg and hay daily. Some animals aren't suited to our

larger hutches due to their ability to escape! So we ask that cages are provided for most other animals for their safety. We are able to accommodate for a variety of small animals other than those advertised, providing we have the space, so just ask!

Hi everyone, I will be taking a full break from the boarding for about a week in June, this means it will be closed from the 18th of June to the 23rd of June. Spaces will be available again starting Wed 24th June when I reopen. I still have good availability throughout the summer months so please send me a message if you'd like to get booked in.

Hi everyone, I'm increasing my prices slightly as of today. My last price increase was over 3 years ago, and, as you can imagine, my costs have gone up since then. I want to continue to provide the best service, keep the facilities up to date, and, of course, provide the best treats and fresh veg for your pets. I've attached the new price list, along with some general information. This does not apply to current bookings or those who have already received a quote.
I've also attached information on rabbit vaccines. Rabbits should be vaccinated against Myxomatosis, and RHD1 and RHD2 before coming into the boarding.

Hi everyone, Dexter here is looking for a new home. His family are moving to Australia, and sadly can't take him with them.
He is a 3 year old neutered male. He currently has a hutch outside in the summer but lives inside when it starts to get colder. He's litter trained atm, he would just need to get used to the location of his tray.
I've looked after Dexter quite a few times over the last 2-3 years, and he is a lovely, friendly boy.
Please send me a message if you think you can offer Dexter a loving home, where you can give him some time and attention, and I can pass your details over to the owners.
