I had to share this little video from yesterday as it just sums up why I love my work ā¤ļø

This is Lola, doing figure of 8 walking training with Millie. Bearing in mind that just a couple of weeks ago, Millie was a ā€œhead down pull like a trainā€ at the end of the lead dog, who made no eye contact and wouldnā€™t even take a treat on a walk. You can tell that both Lola and Millie are enjoying this training and it is working wonders!

Iā€™ve recently been working with Millie (who doesnā€™t like visitors). We had to block her view of people walking past the kennel so she couldnā€™t keep practicing barking at everyone. With some managed set ups, she is now learning that visitors can mean good things are going to happen!

But I just canā€™t get over how similar she looks to my old boy Derek in the photo below šŸ’”
