We are looking for an experienced and confident Veterinary Receptionist to join the front-of-house team at Stansted Veterinary Specialists, our independently owned veterinary referral clinic in Essex.
This is a busy and varied role that sits at the centre of the clinic’s day-to-day operations. You will be the first point of contact for clients and referring practices and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of appointments, communications, and administrative processes.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience working as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar veterinary front-of-house role
- A confident telephone manner and strong written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Experience with processing direct insurance claims
- A professional, calm, and empathetic approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
- A good working knowledge of practice management systems and basic IT skills
- A right to work in the UK
What We Offer:
- Salary of £28,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus practice bonus scheme
- A full-time role with 40 hours per week between 8am-6pm
- 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays
- A supportive team environment within an independently owned referral clinic
