Day 1&2 of big boy school for Stanley 📚 Wednesday saw him join a secure field session with some of our resident Happy Paw Pack walkers to socialise with other dogs and today consisted of some recall and manners work as well as a “snifari”, exploring the world with his nose!! 👃
Sooo excited to see this boy grow and learn the ways of the Happy Paw Pack! 🐾
Ps. How cute does he look in his pink harness? Boys can wear pink too and look fabulous doing it 💓💓

8 eyes on me AT ALL TIMES👀👀👀👀
Hanging on my every word! Judging my every decision! I genuinely feel severely judged for the entire hour every single time! 😂

Collies are known for being incredibly focused, athletic, loyal and eager-to-please dogs… and when you’ve got 4 of them staring at you waiting for your next instruction, you definitely feel the pressure! 😂🐾

It’s also SUCH A CHALLENGE to get 4 collies to sit still for a photo especially when 3 of them are trying to herd each other! Typically the show collie was the most chill and gave me strength this walk😂

⭐ 6 dogs, 14 seconds!! ⭐

Probably the most asked question I get when I tell people I’m a dog walker is, “How many do you take at a time?” followed closely by “How do you handle that many?! I can barely hold two!”

Insurance and council limits mean I’m allowed up to 6 dogs in public spaces (including my own), although I don’t often walk 6 at once. But when I do, THIS is the expectation I have of that group 👀

Instant recall when asked! 🗣️🐶

Yes, it’s a big group, but I always laugh when people say “you’ve got your hands full!” when I can recall and physically touch every single dog in just 14 seconds and that’s with one hand, because I was filming with the other! Add a couple of extra seconds if I was actually getting them all leashed up too 😂

Obviously, dogs that don’t have a recall like this simply don’t go off lead and that’s not a bad things at all! Not every dog has to be an off lead dog either!! Dogs who are getting there but maybe only have 90% recall might use a long line to give them that extra bit of help and security.

I’m so glad I’ve finally been able to capture this! I must get asked at least once a day 🫣

🌲 Adventure Walk 21/08 🌊

What a fantastic adventure walk today with two new adventurers, Beni and Poppy, joining resident adventure walkers Toby, Linus and Henry! 🐾

Some groups just click… and some don’t! But today was definitely a group that just jelled!

Beni, Toby and Poppy ran for miles, with Linus joining in for the occasional zoomie and being quite playful if I do say so myself! And although Henry doesn’t exactly go anywhere fast 😂, he wanted to be right in the middle of the action at all times, which is very unlike him!

Today was the first adventure walk in a while where we had absolutely NO heat concerns, and I bloomin’ LOVED IT! ☔️

Bring on autumn!! 🍂🌲

P.S. The dye from Poppy’s collar has rubbed onto her neck 🫣 … although, I have to admit, it looks a little too Halloween-ish! 🎃😂

Abit of a wet first walk for Rocco today! ☔️
We also welcomed 5 month Rocco to the Happy Paw Pack today ready for some paired walks then eventually group socialising once he’s grown that little bit more! Rocco is the first of his breed, can anyone guess what he is? His owner has put so much time and effort into his research for the perfect breed for his family and lifestyle and I must say, he’s hit the nail on the head!!
